Moving To California

I’m Violet, I’m a 17 year old girl who has to move schools. I hate being the new girl. I either get bullied or embarrassed. Why do I have to move schools if I don’t want to? Well because I have to move in with my grandma. My grandma lives in California, I used to live in Texas with my parents but after what I did they didn’t want to live with me. ‘Amazing parents right’, note the sarcasm. At least I won’t be alone at my new school. Why? Because when I visited my grandma over the summer I made a best friend, her name is Rose, I know we both have names of flowers. She’s happy I’m moving down there with her. Let me tell you about her. She has long shiny blonde hair and smooth tan skin, she loves to party, I used to. She’s also 17 years old, she has a little brother, he’s 6 years old, cute and smart. Back to Rose, she’s 5,5, while i’m 5,3. I know i’m short. She lives with her parents and her little brother. She knows why I have to move.

My grandma is picking me up from the airport. My grandma loves to spoil me, so if you haven’t guessed it yet she bought me my own car already. It’s a silver Volvo. She’s not rich but she’s not poor. She lives alone in a big house. I can’t wait to see her.

I walked outside the airport and saw my grandma and Rose waiting for me. What? she wanted to tag along.

“Violet!” Rose shouted. I smiled and waved at them. Rose gave me a big hug, in which I returned. “Hi grandma, hey Rose″ I said with a smile. “Hi Violet″ my grandma smiled and said while hugging me. “Well let’s get going we have an hour to drive back home,” my grandma said, grabbing my suitcases. I helped put them in the trunk.

We arrived an hour later. It was 6 in the afternoon when we arrived. I wanted to unpacked all my stuff, Rose wanted to help. When we finished it was 8 at night. My grandma made dinner for all of us. When we finished it was 9 so Rose went home. I took a shower and got ready for bed.

Tomorrow I was going to be the new girl.

Sorry it’s short, I’m new to writing. I decided to post on every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, because I don’t do school on those days.
