Lilith's First Change
" Are you ready for this?" Clara asked grimly.
"I have to be!" Wesley answered back.
"Ok let's get our daughter. LILITH! " Clara responded.
" Coming momma! " a little voice answered. Dressed in a tank top and cut-offs, Lilith slowly came down the steps. At 17 years old, Lilith still loved being with her parents. Excited for their picnic, she was taking the staircase at a new speed.
Two hours later, the family stopped at the camping spot they'd been allotted. Lilith hurriedly lay an expendable table cloth on the table in the small clearing. The three of them sat and enjoyed a small meal of fried chicken, carrots, and scalloped potatoes.
After their lunch, Lilith wandered off as her parents cleaned up. Following a creek she found, Lilith paid no attention to where she was going. Surrounded by trees and the brook whispering promises Lilith was almost completely entranced.
"C'mon Clara she'll be fine! She's our princess and we've hit the jackpot with her."Wesley urged.
"Yes, I must agree. Luscious red waves from me, your emerald eyes, and her porcelain skin with light freckles. I'm just glad she is intelligent too."Clara murmured. "I'm sure she's far enough so let's go before she tries returning."
A couple of hours later sitting by the brook still half daydreaming, Lilith realized her parents haven't called for her. She tries to make her way back only to realize she's off the trail she started on. Without realizing it, tears slowly fall as she wrings her hands.
" momma, Daddy??" She calls over and over but gets no reply. Finally worn down she sits on a stump and shock runs through her body. Lost in tears she fails to notice the first wave of heat through her lush body. The second wave comes with the cracking of bones and she kneels crying with pain. Suddenly an angelic voice coos to her that she'll be ok if she doesn't fight against the change. She asks herself if she's going crazy, but that soft, sultry voice laughs and replied no. She asks if she's becoming schizophrenic and the voice lets out a small snort then replied"I am Adele and I'm your lycan. We are two halves of a whole. "
Falling on the ground, Lilith realizes she now has paws instead of hands. Beautiful fiery fur has covered her head to paw and she gasps and moves to the brook to peek at herself. Seeing a fiery head with emerald green eyes, Lilith chuffs at the reflection causing the brook to ripple.
Behind her a bear let out a small growl. Whipping around, Lilith let out a loud growl, startling the bear and herself. The bear ambled off and Lilith slumps to the ground in relief. Adele whispered that she did good and Lilith thanks her before passing out from the strain of the first change.
Waking up, Lilith took a drink from the brook before deciding to take a run in her new body. Digging her paws into the ground, Lilith finds an incredible amount of energy pulsing through her. Adele urges her on and Lilith enjoys the wind as she flies through the Appalachian forest.
After a week of changing and growing more comfortable with being a lycan, Lilith felt her head flood with information from her ancestors. Selena, the moon Goddess, crafted the first two Lycans to be her own children of the night. They would go on to have children of their own who took after them. As time went on, the younger generation corrupted the bloodlines by falling for humans and created werewolves, a small, corrupted version of lycan. Both were considered Selene children but the lycan rule the werewolves because of their larger size. As time went on, other gods, and goddesses created their own children and this was how the legends began.
Because humans were so tiny, the gods and goddesses agreed that their children should mostly stay hidden and have a council to run them fairly. Selena made the Lycans the top of all because they were the first creations of the night. Faes, faerie, vampire, Lycans, werewolves, succubus, dwarves, hobbits, trolls, all of them became quiet and enjoyed the peace of the forests and mountains. Dragons and unicorns found their own spot and thanks to magic it was a secluded Cove with A gorgeous waterfall and flowers and ferns and towering trees.
Now that there are so many humans, the gods and goddesses hid most of their children on different planets but lycans, werewolves, vampires, and such stayed on Earth but in the shadows.
Lilith quietly absorbed the information, grateful it was passed on. She then let out a soft cry and again said "momma, Daddy" knowing they wouldn't answer. To her surprise she heard a soft voice reply "Lilith!" Then the unmistakable baritone of her father saying "Hi baby!"
"It's ok Lilith! We're finally linked!" Adele happily told her.
"Momma, Daddy I've missed you so much!" Lilith broke down in tears of happiness.
"We've missed you too! So good to hear you squirt!" Her daddy's voice echoed in her mind.
"We'll come find you right now baby!" Adele linked happily.
"Ok love you both!" Lilith replied.
