Chapter 1 - Birthday
{Elena's POV}
I'm sitting in the back seat of the car with Hope in her carseat giggling at our parents who are singing along to Baby - by Justin Bieber which was my song choice because its so funny to watch my parents sing it
" Like baby, baby, baby ohhh" Mom sang looking back at me and I laughed
"I thought you'd always been mine" Dad sang taking his eyes off the road to look at me of a second.
"DAD!!!!" I screamed when we swerved off the road and slammed into a tree.
I hit my head on the window and I felt blood running down my face. I sat up and leaned over to check on Hope bc she was screaming she was fine just scared. I then leaned forward to check on Mom and Dad.
"Mom, Wake up." I said shacking her but she wasn't moving and I could already see my dad wasn't breathing. I got out my phone and called 911
"911 what's your emergency" the person said
"Uh umm we need help we were in an accident, my d-dad isn't breathing and my m-mo-mom won't wake up please help." I cried into the phone
"Ok miss help is on the way" the person said
"T-Thank you" I cried then hung up and tried to get hope to stop crying, then I saw my mom trying to move.
"Sweetie " Mom said looking at me with blood everywhere
"Mom!" I cried
"Happy Birthday Honey! I'm so sorry, I love you and Hope vary much I'm sorry." she said then she fell forward again but stopped breathing this time. I just stopped crying and got Hope out of her carseat and held her to my chest and rocked her back and forth
"Don't worry Hope i'll always take care of you and be there for you no matter what I PROMISE!"
I woke up sweaty and breathing heavy
"Okay it was just a dream" I said to myself even though it was really a memory. I looked at the time and saw that it was 5:30am. Might as well take a shower and get ready. I got out of bed and got in the shower after my shower I brushed and dried my hair I went to my closet and grabbed black ripped jeans, a white shirt, my black leather jacket and my black high heel boots with black lace bra and underwear. I got dressed did my makeup. I looked at the time again and it was 6:15, okay time to wake up Hope. I walked into her room and saw her passed out in her tiny little bed.
"Hey honey its time to wake up for your first day of school" I said sitting next to her and shaking her a little.
"Really?" Hope asked with a big smile sitting up. I laughed she looked so cute.
"Yea get ready okay?" I asked with a smile I love my little sister more than anything.
"Okay.... OOH! Happy Birthday Sissy" she said as she jumped up and hugged me.
"Thank you" I said as I got up and went downstairs for breakfast.
After breakfast I drove Hope to school and then drove to my school FCHS. I pulled into the parking lot and everyone stared yea yea people are scared of me I get in I walked up to the side of the school and pulled out my vape and hit it as I blew out the smoke the bell rang. I took a couple more hits and then walked around school while everyone was in class I didn't really feel like going to class so I decided why not just leave. I walked out of school, I walked to my car and just as I'm leaving the school my phone starts ringing and I answer it without looking at the caller ID.
"Hello?" I asked
"Hello baby,I just wanted to wish you Happy Birthday" a voice I recognize all to well said.
"Malcom, what the hell? I told you to stop calling me since I broke up with you" I said getting pissed
"I'm sorry baby I was weak and I didn't mean to cheat on you" he cried but to bad I never loved him
"Yea well you did, so just go back to Ashley and make her your girlfriend since you can actually get her into bed" I said then I hung up and headed home. When I got home I went up to my room to take a nap. but that end up not happening so I went into the gym room and start punching the punching bag after I changed into workout clothes. I worked of for a couple out then went and picked up hope once school ended.
"Can we go get ice cream Sissy?" Hope asked as soon as we got into the car
"Yea I guess we can" I said smiling at my little sister
"Ya! Then can we go to the park for a little bit?" she asked bouncing in her busterseat.
"Okay we can, but why are you so happy?" I asked
"Because I get to spend the entire day with you!" She said smiling from ear to ear
"You do that everyday" I said laughing shaking my head at her as I drove to the ice cream parlor. She didn't say anything she just kept smiling. We spent the day eating ice cream and playing in the park till Hope got tired when we got hope she was already asleep. so I carried her to her room and put her in bed and gave her a kiss on the forehead then I looked at the time and saw it was 8:45pm. so I started getting ready for tonight. Which was just fixing my makeup and hair then grabbing my gym bag.
