"Before I forget, there is a typo about half way down in the sentence, “‘How a man should treat a woman’ was likely old news to my little sister AS that point.” Bravo D! This story is dark, real and really well described. You are improving more and more with everything you write. I love the characters and am heartbroken at what Arlo has had to put up with and battle through. She is a fierce character and her morals are just beautiful and pure. It’s rare but so incredible when good people arise out of a horrible upbringing, but she is gonna do some amazing things. I look forward to reading the next chapter. You have really outdone yourself with this one. I think this has been bumped up to my new favourite if I’m honest. :) Thank you for sharing this piece. It really opened my world."
