ONE
Taehyung was sobbing, clinging onto Jimin as the latter was moving out of the centre today.
Taehyung and Jimin grew up in an Omegan care centre as both their families disowned them when they were just, days old.
It isn't uncommon for omega pups to be abandoned as most of the packs considered them a burden.
They both turned 18 this year, which meant they could smell and be smelled by their destined mates. Jimin found his mate rather quickly when he went to market once.
Jimin's mate Min Yoongi is from the Moon Pack, one of the renowned and powerful packs of South Korea.
Taehyung was indeed happy for his best friend but right now he couldn't control his sorrow when he saw Jimin standing with three huge bags, all set to leave.
"I will miss you so badly Minnie"
"So will I Taetae. But don't you worry, I will visit you often" he paused "at least till you find a mate" he added sadly.
Jimin knows they cannot meet frequently once Tae finds his mate. Who knows which pack Taehyung's mate belonged to. What if it was far away or his mate turned out to be an asshole, not allowing Taehyung to visit other packs.
He was grateful and considered himself lucky to have Yoongi as his mate. The alpha was truly caring and supportive.
When Yoongi arrives, his smile disappeared as he could smell the distress of his mate and the other Omega. He was well aware of their friendship.
"Taehyung-ah, we have our mate ceremony this weekend. Also, I recently got appointed as a Deputy alpha. So it's going to be a congratulatory cum mate ceremony and I expect you to attend it"
Taehyung's face brightened up. That meant he is going to see Jimin again soon. "I surely will, Hyung" he smiled, wiping away his tears.

It was Saturday afternoon, when a car came to pick up Taehyung. The one who was sitting in the driver's seat was an Alpha, wearing a bright smile. The passenger seat was occupied by a pretty lady who was a Beta.
"Hello Alpha, Hello Mam" Taehyung greeted them both.
"You can call me Hoseok" The alpha smiled.
"And my name is Nayeon"
"I'm Taehyung" he said softly.
They reached the Moon Pack after an hour drive. The security guard at the entrance bowed and opened tall, wide gates.
As they entered, Taehyung was stunned at the vastness of the Pack's grounds. The pack had almost a hundred houses. They drove past them all only to arrive at a huge white mansion.
He remembered Jimin once said that the Head alpha and his family lived in there along with all deputy alphas and their mates. Does that mean Jimin stayed in the mansion too. Taehyung felt elated thinking Jimin was safe and happy.
"Taetae" Jimin screamed, opening the car door for him. "Come on in, all the pack members are inside. The ceremony is about to start" he grinned.
Hundreds of Alphas, Betas and Omegas gathered inside. The mansion was very huge, the walls were all white, paitings hung upon them.
The furniture seemed costly and there was a staircase in the middle of the hallway. The head alpha, Jeon Junghyun, climbed down the stairs.
"Hello everyone! As you know, we have gathered here to officially welcome Park Jimin into the Pack. Yoongi is appointed as the Deputy Alpha and I'm really proud of all his achievements. I'm grateful for his and his family's loyalty towards the Pack" The Head alpha's announcement followed by a huge applause from the crowd.
The pack members walked to Yoongi and Jimin one by one with bouquets and gifts, congratulating them. Taehyung was simply standing in the crowd smiling, looking at Jimin .
Suddenly he was hit by a strong scent, a scent thas was nothing like any he had ever smelled before.
A rare combination of forest, pine trees and earthy minerals. His legs turned into jelly while his wolf inside, almost did a cartwheel in happiness.
Mate
He looked up at the direction of the scent only to see a young handsome man. His hair jet black and his eyes amber red? which meant he could smell Taehyung too. He was aware of his mate's presence too.
The alpha was standing on the staircase, his red eyes scanned the crowd vigorously, his eyebrows slightly knitted.
His gaze suddenly fell upon a gorgeous petite omega. Dark red orbs meet Taehyung's blue ones. A smirk made way onto the alpha's face as he eyed his mate intensely.
Taehyung who could no longer keep the eye contact lowered his head, face flushed in shyness. The alpha walked down the stairs, he stood beside Yoongi and Jimin casually talking to them, but his eyes were trained on the Omega.
Taehyung tried his best to hide behind people as he felt too exposed.
It felt like the alpha was boring into his soul with those strong piercing eyes.
The alpha slowly padded towards the omega, while the latter stared at the ground, blushing furiously, standing behind a random tall person.
He looked up after a while and relaxed a bit as the alpha was nowhere near him.
He was smiling to himself at the thought of finally finding his mate.
"Why hiding from me, pretty?" a husky voice breathed out into his ear from the back and Taehyung let out a squeal, gaining attenion of the crowd.
He turned back, the alpha was now standing a few feet away, smiling smugly at the poor embarrassed omega.
"Are you okay Taehyung?" Jimin rushed to his friend.
"Did you say Taehyung?" the alpha spoke in his deep voice, amused.
"Yes alpha" Jimin responded.
The alpha chuckled shaking his head. "Jimin-ssi, the person you keep ranting about day and night, will soon be joining the pack"
His words attracted everbody's attention. Yoongi, Jimin, Hoseok, Nayeon and many others including the head alpha stood there confused, intently listening to each word the young alpha spoke.
"Taehyung just found his mate" he announced loudly to which Tae faintly smiled, his heart hammered inside the chest.
Jimin's eyes sparkled, knowing his best friend would be living in the same pack with him. But he also needed to know who it was, and how this alpha knows about Taehyung's mate.
The crowd were all looking at him puzzled.
"Who is it alpha? And how do you know" Jimin queried to which the alpha rolled his eyes at the lame question.
"Exactly Jimin-ssi! How would I know if some random guy finds their mate? he huffed. "I know it because he is my omega, my destined mate"
Everybody around gasped, Ooh's and Aah's echoed in the room. They all took a few seconds for the words to sink in before screaming in joy.
"Taehyungie" Jimin cried out in happiness, hugging him tight from the side.
The screams and claps left Taehyung confused.
"Our future Luna is here" a person from the pack hurrayed in a loud voice.
Taehung was shocked, his eyes wide opened, looking at Jimin for confirmation and when Jimin nodded he was left speechless.
His eyes were brimmed with happy tears.
"Who? Who is it?" a voice was heard from the Kitchen area.
The man, a beautiful omega came running, engulfing Taehyung into a tight hug.
"We have been waiting for you for the last two years sweetheart. I'm Seokjin and this is my mate Namjoon, a deputy alpha" the man said pulling away from the hug. The couple smiled warmly at the Omega.
"Welcome to the pack. We will arrange for your mating soon. I'm Jeon Junghyun, head alpha of the Moon pack and this is my only son Jeon Jeongguk, a deputy alpha, soon to be the head alpha" Junghyun said to Taehyung, pointing towards his mate.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement. The reception Taehyung received was warm and overwhelming.
Everybody around cheered, except for one person, who was looking at Taehyung from a corner in rage, hatred and jealousy.
