Soul Taker

May 11, 1326

A boy was born just in the northern areas of Europe.

Growing up he had an older brother. Soon they became orphans. A dark plague went around killing millions of people and their parents happened to be one of them.

June 30, 2022

Nearly 675 years later. After living through the deaths of his brother, parents, all his family at age just 21 Reap became a dark mysterious creature who takes the takes the souls of the dead and lead them to the underworld to be judge by his master, Hades.

Yes Grim Reaper.

Reap died when he was 21 on his 21st birthday. He suffered after getting the plague and dying but was granted a wish. This wish becoming a Reaper. Taking people's souls when they die and bringing them to hades for a peaceful or a non peaceful after life.

This 'wish' was becoming a curse. Reap couldn't go to the human world unless he was taking a soul or watching over someone who was about to die.

But like usual he was hovering above an old man maybe late 70's who developed cancer. Reap was holding and hour glass and when all the sand reached the bottom of the glass he would take this old mans soul.

Reap looked at the hour glass seeing as this man only has a few hours left. So Reap stopped hovering and stood by the wall seeing as this old man couldn't see him yet.

Around midnight when the hour glass ran out of sand and this old mans heart stop beating Reap brought his scythe to this old mans chest and dug in his flesh. This mans soul slowly flew out of his body. "What's happening?" The old man spoke. He looked at Reap. "Who are you?" He said terrified. "I'm a Grim Reaper, I'm sent here by my master to collect your soul and send you to your after life where you shall be judge and see if you get a peaceful one."

This frightened the old man more. Reap reached his hand out to the soul. "It's ok, take my hand I promise it will be alright." The soul took Reaps hand and off they went to the underworld.

When they got there Reap let go of the man in front of Hades. Hades spoke up. "Who is this man?" He asked. Archer one of Hades' demon spoke up, "Ronald Halfter, died of cancer, was a war Veteran and died in his late 70's." "Thanks Archer" Hades said. Archer nodded and walked standing next to Reap.

"As from what Archer read I'm seeing as you get a peaceful afterlife, with your passed family members" hades spoke and banged his fist on his chair meaning he reached his final answer. "Reap, do your job" Hades said again.

Reap walked over to the man and took his hand and brought him to the peaceful after life.

When they got there, the old man saw a beautiful little hut where he lived with his wife when he was 25 sadly she died giving birth to their daughter.

"Your wife and daughter shall be in there waiting" Reap said.

The old man broke into tears. "I finally get to meet my baby" the old man said and walked into his after life and when he did he turned younger and into his early years of 25.

Reap saw as the old man realized he was young again and ran off and hugged his daughter for the first time and how his daughter yelled "daddy!" For the first time.
