Chapter 1
It was a bright sunny day in Shimla. The high school exams were over and there were the visible tension seen between the students, regarding their tougher Question paper stuff. But our Srinidhi always possess the "captain cool" attitude. Raksha,her bestie was annoying her by talking about the less probability of scoring a centum in that paper and Srinidhi was in Hell-dont-I-care mode.
Finally they entered their hostel. Throwing all the bags on floor, Srinidhi fell on her bed, in relaxing manner. Suddenly an idea got pop up in her mind, to tear up the maths book, as she suffered enough harassment by the portions. But her laziness possessed her once she landed in that comfy bed. She took her phone and called her mom,who was in Chennai..
Trringgg... trringggg...
"Hey mom" she squeaked."Hmmm Srinidhi, how did u do ur exams today?"her mom asked.
"Yess mom, I did okayish,the question paper was tough."She told.
"So when are you coming?? Did u book ur tickets? And are u done with ur packing btw??" Her mom nagged. "Whoaaaaoo , take a chill pill mom, am done with most of the packing.. and yes I booked the tickets tough. Will be reaching there by 5 tmrw"she told. After the general talks about the safety in her journey, and the other things, finally they hung up.
She felt sleepy, and slowly she drifted off in the dreamland.
A roaring voice woke her up. Raksha's. "Hey Sri, wake up u sleepy head, there's a farewell meet in our hostel,let's go and join them" Srinidhi woke up for her bestie's nagging. Then they joined the meet, and enjoyed till the late night.
The next day, Srinidhi woke up early, Got ready and bid a hearty good bye to all her friends and left for the airport. Raksha accompanied her to the airport. "Take care my girliee.Will miss u soo much, do ping me once u reach and I wont regret to kick ur butt if u forget me over the days." Raksha told. "Yes my dear Rakshu.. will miss u badly too.. and yes.. I would definitely keeping u posted about my whereabouts". Raksha and Srinidhi shared a deep bond, Others even suspected them to be lesbians, which they defied by holding a checking out sessions on boys, every evening at their hostel canteen.
Soon Srinidhi boarded her flight and passed the rest of the travel time by sleeping, such a sleepy head she was... by the time she landed in Chennai, her mobile rang, displaying her moms number.. She informed her about the landing, to which her mom replied that she has sent a person named Jai , to pick her up in the airport. Her mom texted her the persons pic and number to her mobile for reference too.
Soon she got off the plane, called up the person named Jai. He said that he was waiting at the taxi spot and she too found him there ,boarded the car and left to her home. It was an awkward silent ride,bcoz the person didnt look like a usual driver. She too was not eager to ask him his details, as she felt it was unnecessary.
Srinidhi reached her home.. ran to her mom,gave a biggg bear hug and entering the balcony . Little did she know that her invisible father of these years, Mr. Sai Senthil was waiting at the hall, along with his friend Mr.Pranav Krishna and his son Varun Krishna.
Entering the hall,she gasped with the view of completely unknown ppl. Her mom holded her hand behind, and the guy Jai, joined that strangers area. writing here…
