Summary Scene 1
On Mars, M’yrnn and Sha’sheen are in their home. Sha’sheen is giving birth over narration by J’onn J’onzz. She gives birth to twins, which is uncommon to Martians. They are told that one of the twins has no telepathy, the commonplace ability for all Martians. They name the baby with no telepathy Ma’alefa’ak, meaning ‘Darkness in the Heart’, whereas they name the other baby J’onn J’onzz, which means ‘Light of the Light’.
