Charlie

I was then woken by a loud screeching of the front door. I was curious of who could be in my house suddenly I heard my name being called so I rushed down a flight of stairs as fast as a lightning bolt. Zoom! I soon then ran into my boyfriend Charlie at the bottom of the stairs I thought to myself what could he be doing here at this hour? So I choose to ask him then, he replied to look at the time on the clock. So I did and I then noticed that it was 11:00am and we were supposed to go out to breakfast today! So I I began to whisper but I felt my eyes starting to swell up and I felt tears coming but I pushed back the tears and I quickly said “I’m sorry.”

Then, I headed upstairs to get ready before I got a chance to even reach to reach the second step Charlie yelled my name “Maya!” I was confused at first why was he yelling my name I thought? So I walked to him once more as I did before as soon as I was with a comfortable distance between himself and I he suddenly pulled me in and kissed me. I didn’t know what to expect so I choose to not expect I just went with what was happening to me then and there. It felt as if as if we weren’t in my old creaky house and though instead we were in a valley surrounded by all the different types of wonderful smelling flowers but then when we stopped and came back to reality with me thrown in his arms crying. Charlie then quickly said “go get yourself taken care of,” he looked at me and smiled but his smile was not with his mouth but with his eyes alone.

So I hurried quickly up the stairs to get ready as soon ask I got there he peeped “Maya you should wear your hair up today it always looks marvelous that way!” I then felt like I was blushing so I was about to look down suddenly I saw him blushing too so I didn’t and all I did was reply “ok!” I then realized when Charlie smiled everytime we were together that made me even happier to be with him forever and always.

I choose to wear a crop top because California is really hot in summer. I then took my golden hair clip and put it in my gleaming silky blonde hair. Charlie was right, it did look cute. I ran down stairs once more but at a slower pace, I then saw his smooth red hair and his rough golden eyes at that moment I thought to myself I’m so lucky to have him!

Sooner or later we then arrived at a diner called “The Cranky Cat” it’s the local coffee shop here in riverside despite the name it is the best food in town (well for breakfast that is). When we walked in, I saw the same white and yellow lights as usual, we were then greeted by the owner Kat who worked at the dinner also. Kat then took our order and left. I realized that Charlie kept glancing at texts on his phone. I was able to catch one of them saying “meet at Bunnies at 12?” ( Bunnies is another joint but a lunch and dinner one only). What could that possibly mean was my boyfriend cheating on me?! I then glanced at the contact name “Sam” I read, was my boyfriend also bisexual and didn’t tell me? What the hell is going on with my life right now?

After breakfast Charlie offered to walk me back to my car but I refused because I’m perfectly able to walk back on my own but I didn’t say that. We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. I choose to go out and buy a colorful wig and some funky looking sunglasses too. I didn’t want to be recognized by him if I’m following him but then I realized the problem about a car so I just planned to use Uber to get to Bunnies I got there a little before 12 so I wouldn’t draw attention to myself like a bright blue wig and hot pink sunglasses weren’t enough. I saw him walk through the door but with a girl not a boy I was wrong but then why would her name be Sam? I was right he probably was cheating on me but, after everything we have been through why would he do this to me?!

The next day I saw Charlie so I went up to him frustrated then I yelled “why would you do this to me?! I hate you Charlie I hate you!” He then gave me a puzzled look then he whispered in my ear “baby why are you so mad what did I do to you to make you hate me?”! I didn’t know how to respond to this like does he really not know what he did to hurt me?! I just replied “please don’t talk to me right now I’m not in the mood for you I’m sorry I have to go.” I felt my eyes swell up like cherries soon then as I turned away I felt a tear come running down my face the more came it was as if my eyes were clouds and my tears were the rain. I turned to back one more then I saw that Charlie had not moved his hands were now dropped to his sides he was holding a rose bouquet it was the prettiest thing I had ever seen he then yelled out to me “did you forget?” I couldn’t think of what Charlie could possibly be talking about. I looked up suddenly and then, Charlie was in front of me he then whispered into my ear “I guess you did in fact forget but that’s ok because I will always remember” Charlie pulled me in and kissed me then, whispered “Happy Birthday Maya!” I pushed him back though despite everything that was happening I had forgotten, I had forgotten about my own birthday! “What day is it today?” I ask humbly Charlie replies “it is the 7th” omg I was wrong it was my birthday and Charlie remember it! I had forgotten because of everything that was happening with my life right now!

That next day I head over to my friend Lilly’s house to tell her all about what had happened the night before I was so excited to see her, but suddenly I felt something go over my mouth then everything went dark. Maybe it was a few hours later I woke up I went to check my watch but it was gone I looked around me I was in the back of a truck. My gut told me to stay but my will told me to leave how was I supposed to escape from a truck? I choose to stay to avoid injuries I then got up off the bottom of the truck and I walked over to the window of the door from between the back and the front. I couldn’t believe my eyes the driver wasn’t no ordinary person it was Lilly. I thought why would Lilly kidnap me? I wondered what could have possibly been going on? The truck then began to come to a final stop. Lilly then turned off the engine and i heard her walk over to where I was sitting. The doors opened with a SHREKa! Lilly yelled “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAYA!” I choose to ask “where are we”

I saw my friend Lee so I hollered “Lee!” She just looked at me like what the f***k was wrong with me so I went up to her and said “hello” the music was loud so I had to yell. She responded “hi I’m Annabelle the killer doll but don’t tell anyone that!” I nodded for her approval, then walked off to find Charlie then I saw it Charlie was with Sam again, it bothered me a lot though so I went up to them and just acted casual by asking “Who is this?” Charlie then said her name was Samantha but she went by Sam and she was his sister just visiting from out of state. That made me feel 1 ten thousand times more comfortable than I was that would make sense why they acted so close to each other. I felt that next time i should trust my boyfriend more.
