An Unknown Beginning

The sweet scent of blood filled her nostrils as she sat in the cage, a captive to two demonic forces. It was the coppery blood of a large doe, the scent sending a tremble through her body. They had only allowed her to eat fruit for the past week and she wanted more. She was an omnivore, but living off only fruit was difficult, making her weak, which was not good for her 4′10, chunky frame. Her two tails swirled around as she heard footsteps nearing the front door, her ears twitching with anticipation even though she had severe hatred for the men who had captured her.

As the door opened, it revealed a tall, silver toned male with long onyx locks that ended at his hip. He was the one named Athnos, the kinder of the two men, though his 7 foot, muscular build gave him a threatening appearance. The male she despised most was Cryth because he had nothing but hatred hidden behind his crimson hues, a hatred that seemed to have been there for centuries. The male was covered in a scent of pure masculinity, standing at the height of close to 6′5 feet tall, and nearly weighing 250 pounds of nothing but muscle. He would be the one to die with a smile upon his face.

“Hungry kitty?” Athnos spoke first as he and Cryth neared the kitchen, her response being a small hiss, causing laughter from men.

“I suppose that is a yes.”

Cryth’s gruff voice sent a wave of hatred through her, her tails stiffening in response to his words. “I’ll feed her, then afterwards you can get the bathing water ready for her,” Athnos said, a small noise coming from Rain as she watched the male walk over toward her cage. In his hand rested a large leg from their kill, her tongue darting across her plump lips as her stomach growled with hunger. “Guess you are hungry, huh kitty?” Watching as he kneeled down to unlock the door to the cage, her doe-like eyes stared at the healed scar she had left across his strong cheekbones, a mark that proved she was not as weak as she appeared.

Her eyes then glanced at the row of fine, dagger sharp teeth Athnos had within his mouth as he smiled once he opened the cage door. “Ask and you shall receive,“he teased as he waved the piece of bloody flesh in her face, moving his hand back a bit as her claws reached out to grab the meat. She knew the drill, yet she was not in the mood to mewl and purr for her dinner; she knew she would starve if she didn’t beg though. Blocking out the spiteful feelings she had, she tilted her head and twitched her ears, waving her tails slowly as she let out a small mewl, watching the facial features of Athnos soften for only a split second before the leg was handed to her outstretched palm.

“Damn cat... evil and yet beautiful.” Rain heard him mutter soft words as he closed the cage, watching while she hungrily tore into the flesh of the deer placed in front of her, the raw meat feeling soft between her teeth, her constant hunger dying as she ate.

She heard running water in the other room, as well as the crushing of bone as she watched Athnos completely devour his portion of meat, bone and all; her tails swirled as she watched his fork-like tongue licking blood off of his bottom lip.

Suddenly Cryth appeared, his smooth, violet tail swaying behind him as he neared her cage. The very tip of his tail was lined with orb shaped flesh, the three, lavender tinted orbs waving in front of her face as she hissed at him.

“Bath time, kit kat.”
