Chapter 1

I enjoy talking to you, Reid debated sending this message to _EM_, the girl he met a few weeks ago in the chat room. The girl that intrigued him. The girl that had the ability to keep up with his knowledge, and the girl with an uncanny personality. She was the light in the sky. In a second of courage, he sent the message, and not a minute later, she replied, “When can I actually meet you?”

Adrenaline was pumping through her veins, she grinned watching her twin scream in pain. Mary gripped the brander with an ‘M’ on it. It was red hot, as Mary slowly pushed it in into Marcey’s skin where her heart would be, and listened to the hissing noise the skin made. Marcey let out a piercing cry of pain while Mary danced around the table, proud of the pain she had inflicted.

The next day Garcia asked Reid curiously, “Why are you so happy?”

“No reason.”

“Who’s the girl?”

“What girl?”

“The one that’s got you smiling. That girl!”

“Well, there is the one girl I met a few weeks ago in a chat room,” Reid explains pulling out her picture.

“Oooo! She looks like a keeper,” Garcia states as they come upon the rest of the team.

“Why do we have this case?” Morgan asked angrily, referring to the case the Behavioral Analysis Unit received that afternoon.

“The markings on the body were similar to a case a couple years ago, and the police think it’s the same person, but we aren't sure,” Hotchner says, “Here’s a picture of the body.”

The whole team gathered around the table and looked at the picture of a girl’s gruesome dead body. It had bruises where the hands, feet and waist were tied down, and you could tell there was some kind of struggle, and there was some knife marks near the throat. Garcia reported that the knife marks near the throat caused the girl to bleed out. “What connects this case to another?” Morgan asked, “Nothing looks to peculiar.”

“There is a branded ‘M’ on the chest, and it looks the same as a case a couple years ago. We think the unsub from the first case is a woman, and we suspect this unsub is also a woman, but we could be wrong,” Hotchner stated firmly.

“The girl’s name is Marcey Belmont. She is 27 and has a twin sister named Mary and a mother named Martha. Martha has a criminal record for child abuse. She was in jail for 2 years, and Mary got into some trouble in school soon after her mother got taken away. She was caught stabbing a girl with a fork during lunchtime. She is the spawn of Satan.” Garcia announced wearily.

When Reid glanced at the picture once again, he whispered, “E M… M.” All of the sudden his eyes got wide, he realized the body was _EM_.

“I can’t believe that _EM_… it can’t be her. That’s not possible, I talked to her last night,” mumbled Reid.

“Morgan, bring the mother and the sister in for interrogation,” Hotchner stated.

“Got it,” Morgan replied.

“What have I missed?” Prentiss asked while she walked in the door. While Hotchner filled her in, Reid sat in the chair and tried contact _EM_, but the chat room said she wasn’t online.

“_EM_?” Reid questioned as the two suspects walked in.

“Who’s _EM_?” Mary wondered looking at her mother’s face go white as a sheet of paper.

“Sweetie, I didn’t want to tell you this now, but one of your sisters was given away… by me,” Martha said quietly.

“What do you mean sisters?”

Martha looked at her daughter’s confused face. “You are a triplet.”
