Three years back, I settled on an earth-shattering choice in my life. I moved to New York.
The boisterous, excessively swarmed and busy avenues which I thought would engulf me someday are now a piece of me. Indeed, even today, there is something special about this city – it’s a nightmare and a fantasy combined together.
The estimated distance between Times Square and The Empire State Building according to Google Maps is 0.6 miles. And, as estimated by Google Maps, it will take you 13 minutes to walk this distance between these two top tourist spots. And in these 13 minutes, you’ll be hit with sounds of the siren, the horns of the taxis, the clicking of Jimmy Choo heels, the extravagantly suited businessmen yelling into their iPhones, the enormous herd of tourists speaking a language that may sound strangely familiar. On the off chance that you are sufficiently fortunate, you can also spot various doppelgangers of Charlie Chaplin, Michael Jackson, superheroes from Marvel and characters from Disney strolling with you through the streets.
