"Really loved how intense these moments were, McCoy getting forced into that mind-meld was brutal and you can feel how shaken he is after then Kirk debating whether to nudge McCoy into agreeing to Spock’s mind-meld, Messy but so in-character."

"A rambling narrative featuring the well known crew of the starship Enterprise. The characters are alternately bizarrely contentious or uncomfortably affectionate , and therefore seem widely out of character. The story jumps from one crisis to another, sometimes with no resolution to either. The writing is overly descriptive and unrefined. Overall a disappointing story "
