Chapter Eight.
After what was supposed to be a lovely lunch, turns out to be a disaster. Mpho was so angry at both, but why...?
DANIEL: Mpho, ..... can you please wait?
MPHO: What for...?
DANIEL: I want us to resolve this.
MPHO: But there is nothing to free up. Just leave me alone?
DANIEL: But I did nothing wrong, you rejected me.
MPHO: Good, BCS, you are all the same.
DANIEL: I didn't know that she was your Friend, let me clear this to you?
MPHO: Don't bother yourself, I don't care.
DANIEL: It was just an accident.
MPHO: Coincidence that allows you to run after my Friend...?, I was so happy after seeing you here but you couldn't see it BCS you were busy with her. I looked for you after that day, but that doesn't matter anymore.
DANIEL: I didn't notice, and I am sorry.
MPHO: You can save it. Bye....
Daniel went back to look for Dakalo.
DANIEL: HY, what's your actual name...?
DAKALO: Precious, I give you my other name, which I do if you don't know me. I'm sad for what just happen, all along I have been flattering with my best Friend, Man.
DANIEL: But that's where you wrong, BCS I'm not her guy.
DAKALO: You just don't notice, she loves you so, and was just trying to play hard to get.
DANIEL: Let me talk to her.
DAKALO: No, give her some space. I know my Friend, and will want nothing to do with us, can you imagine how bad this looks? She hasn't entered your home but I have, meaning that this will hurt her so much. I have to go.... Bye.
Dakalo try to look for Mpho, but She was nowhere to be found.
PRECIOUS: Thandeka, did you see Mpho...?
THANDEKA: I think she went to the bathroom.
PRECIOUS: Thank you.
But Mpho wasn't there.
PRECIOUS: She's not there.
THANDEKA: She might have used the back door.
PRECIOUS: If you see her, just let me know and don't tell her anything.
THANDEKA: Ok, I will.
It was a hectic day at work, with some tensions between Daniel and Mpho.
That afternoon...
DANIEL: Mpho, your friend was here looking for you.
MPHO:, but I don't have a buddy.
DANIEL: She didn't know that I'm Daniel, I give her my other identification and also give me her second name. We didn't find each other until now, and it's not fair to blame her for this.
MPHO: I am not blaming anyone, I just want to be alone and wish you can respect that.
DANIEL: Let me make it up to you.
MPHO: Just let me do my job, and so I can get out of here. Can you do that for me...?
Then Mpho walked away to attend a patient. Everyone can see that she wasn't herself, and luckily even the manager noticed that. They gave her some times off, since her duties need focus. She then went straight home, without even check her best Friend.
After work, Precious run into Daniel.
DANIEL: I am sorry, I try talking to your Friend, but didn't give me a chance.
PRECIOUS: But I told you to leave her alone, she loves you and that won't just pass away in two minutes. She needs time and hand over her that.
DANIEL: I will decide, but I'm not promising anything. She won't be around for few days. The Manager thinks her mind wasn't in the proper set. She gives her until next week, Thursday.
PRECIOUS: That's good, I will try passing by her. We need sisters to talk.
DANIEL: all all right, let me drop you by bus stop.
PRECIOUS: No, thank you. Mpho's Mom will be here any minute, I asked for a ride since my Mom won't make it.
DANIEL: Ok, then. See you tomorrow.
PRECIOUS: See you then.
It's not fair to both since they did nothing wrong, but Mpho doesn't think about it that way. There is tension between them, and who knows what's next. Next in Chapter 9..........
