Her Billionaire. His Angel

NATALIA'S POV

"Hey Natalia, which dress do you think I should wear?" My best friend Elena asked. I skim over the two choices that she picked with squinted eyes. Both dresses were really cute, but I think the white, tight-fitting dress would suit her the most.

"They're both really cute, but I think the white dress is cuter." I chant in a sing-songy voice. Elena and I live in New York City, taking place in a penthouse since we could both afford it. We didn't have much problem paying the bill considering our modeling jobs pay us quite a fair amount every shoot. But tonight, we're ecstatic to head over to a party especially made for celebrities!

As soon as I was done straightening my hair, I chose to wear clothes I got from my previous summer photoshoot. I turn to Elena and ask, "Hey Lena, do you think this is okay to where over there? I mean, it is pretty warm outside tonight." She immediately nods approvingly giving me the 'duh are you kidding' look.

I chuckle at my best friends response. Elena and I have been friends since we were 5. We even got scouted for modeling at the same time! I'm VS's number one angel while Elena was the second angel. Before I became a model, I always thought that me becoming a model was the most bizarre thing ever. I thought I wasn't fit to be one, but that all changed the day I visited the mall with Elena when I was 15...

~Flashback~

"Hey Nat, we should go take a look in the Victoria's Secret store!" I quickly look at her in disbelief. "Are you kidding me Elena?" I ask with widening eyes. "We're only 15! What do you think we're gonna do in there?! Buy some lingeries like we--" She cut off my sentence by putting her hand in my face.

"What the heck is wrong with you Natalia? You do realize that there are more than just lingeries in there, right?" She questions, looking at me like I'm the stupidest person on Earth. Right, I knew that. I mentally face palm myself.

"Psh, of course I knew that." Elena shakes her head smiling. "Sure you did." She says with a smirk before walking inside the store. We walk inside and see plenty of options to choose from. I look to my right to see sports bras and spandex labeled 'PINK' on the back of them. To my left, I find the underwear and bra section. At the end of the store I see the whole wall filled with all kinds of different perfumes. I could smell them from here, and they smelled heavenly.

After familiarizing myself with the store, I find myself staring at the Victoria's Secret's current angel in a gigantic portrait. She was dressed in a red bralette with a crossover strap in the front. The underwear she was wearing was just plain red. She was absolutely gorgeous.

'I wish I was her' I thought to myself, thinking it was impossible to ever be in her position. "Hey! Did you find anything?" Elena squeals excitedly, scaring me out of my thoughts.

"Damn it, Elena!" I hissed. "You scared me!" She chuckles. "Sorry, Nat."

"And to answer your question--" but as soon as I was about to finish my sentence, a low and husky voice grabbed our attention. "How old are you guys?" The mysterious guy asked us curiously. Wow, that didn't sound the slightest bit creepy at all. Elena stood there staying quiet, obviously hoping that I would answer the man.

"Uhm--" I started awkwardly, but instead the man clears his throat realizing how creepy he sounded by his question. "Oh pardon me, I didn't mean to sound like a creep. Let me introduce myself first." We both stood there waiting for him to speak. "My name is Chris Newton, and I'm a modeling scout looking for some new faces to sign with." He announces with a wide smile. Mine and Elena's eyes widen with surprise.

"And I wanted to know your ages because you guys fit the criteria perfectly to become a model. You're both beautiful, tall, and look confident as well as a model should be when they walk." Elena looked at me with an approving look telling me 'we should totally give it a try'. I nod with agreement and politely say, "We're both 15, sir."

He nods with approval in his face and asks another question. "How tall are you guys?" I let Elena speak first. "I'm 5'7." She says with confidence. After Elena responds he turns to me waiting. "I'm 5'9, sir." He looked surprised of how tall I was for my age. Well, of course I'm a giant for my age, but I can't help it! My whole family is freaking tall. My dad is 6'2 and I'm now as tall as my mom. Yea, I definitely took after my dad.

"Good, good! So the last and final question is, would you two like to be signed with our agency?" We both squeal with excitement and Elena screams, "Of course! Thank you so much!" He laughs at our enthusiasm. "Great! Here's my card, and call us to gain more info about auditions. Thanks for accepting girls!" He says before walking away.

"Can you believe it Elena?! We got scouted!" I shout excitedly, making Elena laugh with agreement.

~Flashback Ended~

I remember that day like any other. That day was the day everything changed for mine and Elena's life. In a good way of course! We're now 22 years old, and we've modeled for 7 years now. We love and enjoy it so much, and we couldn't ask for a better life.

"Nat?!" Elena shouted, while snapping her fingers in my face. Startled, I ask, "Shit sorry! What time is it?!"

"It's time to go that's what!" She says crossing her arms. I jump off the bed from where I was sitting and run to get my small purse, and put my white iPhone XR inside before zipping it closed.

Suddenly I hear a shout from outside my bathroom door. "I'll be in the Car!"

"Okay, meet you in there!" I shout back.

Time to party!
