Chapter 1~DEATH
I sit at my desk going homework. I was alway told by my parents to come straight home, and don't interact with strangers. That's kind of relevant if you lived in the busy streets of New York city. Mostly for me, the girl who did what she was told, yet the one everyone hated.
My name is Avery Jones. I am 15 years old and have orangish~brown hair and blue eyes. I was alway called the unique one. I was smarter than most of the nerds, and more athletic than most of the jocks. People either hated me or wanted to be me. At least half the girls in my school hated me, and most of the guys did to.
Every time I go to and from school I heard whispers. About me.
"She deserves to die," some would say.
"She should go to hell," most would say.
For me, life was tough, with people trying to kill me just because I was the best, or better than them, or most of the time for no reason.
I finish my homework when I hear the door to my house open. I walk down the stairs, hoping to see my mother, the one person in the world who didn't hate me, but instead there where 3 girls from my school.
"Umm . . . hello your name is Annabella, right?" I ask the girl in the middle who has short black hair with a red streak on the side.
"Yeah, and?" She asks.
"Just wondering. Is there anything I can help you with?" I ask with a pretty smile on my face.
"Yes actually," says the girl to the left of Annabella.
"Oh, and what is that?" I ask, a bit curious.
"We need you..." the other girl to the right of Annabella begins, as Annabella pulls something shiny out of her bag.
"TO DIE!" The three of them say as Annabella points the shiny thing at me and a loud noise goes off. Darkness consumes me and the last words I hear are, "grab anything you can, and go!"
