"A lovely, driven Nigerian Doctor, a wealthy construction magnate, sounds great right? Yet, this is not your average love story. It started wrong (some would say) and there was a whole culture clash, mistakes and misunderstandings to deal with. But more than just a love story, it is an insight into the cultural background of the doctor, and the differences from her New York life, and how they delt with those. But in the end, love surpassed all the trials and came through, just as a good love story should. "

"I couldn't stop reading! Both main characters are strong and smart, but willing to compromise in order to make the other one happy. Love that Amanda had Christian values. I also love that the story has several plots. I learned a lot about Nigeria and its culture. And Nick's point of view was very on point. It's good to know how the man was thinking during certain events. Both wedding scenes were beautiful! I'm glad everything worked out for the couple and both families were able to share in Amanda and Nick's happiness."
