Monsters.
A star dipped below that old town skyline
Letting you see the creatures hidden just out of sight
I see a monster in every step
I see them making journeys to haunt who's next
I only know what humans look like
Unable to tell if they are disfigured or normal for their own kind
With every pace they take, I proceed four
With all this noise they make, the need to keep walking seems forced
I see a monsters in every step
They seem jubile on their way west
It neither troubles or calms me
Considering even monsters have places to be
Veered to the east in protest of a pointed suggestion
Smile creased, with a hand wave indicating my own direction
I wish them well in their adventures
And thank them for treating me with pleasure
Head nodded west
You part with those old endeavors
