I've never been more afraid in my life. I'm moments from death, with his strong grip around my slender neck and my feet dangling off of the ground. He gets me closer to the edge of unconsciousness and then gives me a breath of air.

"This is what you wanted, remember? You wanted to get close to me and now you are. Bitch, you are mine!" Giovanni growls in his thick Italian accent. The look in his eyes is sinister and beyond terrifying. He could snap my neck and no one here would give two shits about it.

"Please," I say in a whisper before he throws me down to the ground and straddles me.

"Scarlett, right?" He says with a raised brow. My face must have amused him, as he smiles with eyes full of pure evil.

How the fuck does he know my real name? I think to myself as I fight back tears.

He grabbed my face making me stare him in his monstrous eyes, the same eyes I'd stared into when he'd brought me countless orgasms.

"Just do it already!" I cry out. "Just kill me," I speak the last part in a whisper.

I was pleading for death. Giovanni has broken me down. I'd never failed a mission until him. Until him, I never knew love or evil. I believed my tactics were unorthodox, but I wasn't prepared for this.

"Now where's the fun in that?" He says with his sexy as sin, wicked grin. "I have lots of plans for you, Mio Scarlatto. My Scarlett, I own you now. Bitch, you belong to me."

What plans could he have for me after everything he's put me through?

"What do you want from me?" I say as tears escape my eyes. "I will give you anything."

He takes his index finger to his mouth and then uses it to trail down to the valley of my breast. Even now after everything he's done, his wicked touch makes my body feel like an inferno. My chest heaves as I try to deny him my bodies' reaction. With his lips hovering over mine and our gazes locked, he says-

"Everything."

He growls into my mouth before walking away, leaving me on the cold warehouse floor. I watch a pair of boots walk my way before I lose consciousness.
