“SO YOU'RE SAYING I'M gonna be won over by a bunch of Princes?” Princess Aestreaʼs voice boomed throughout the room. They were all filled with high ranked people, the Kings with their Queens. They were the Parliament of the supernatural beings.

“If you put it at that, then yes,” King Sebastian answered. “Every kingdom needs a representative Prince. Do all of you have sons?” The rest of the leaders nodded at his question, except for one.

“I don't have a heir,” One of the Kings at the back of room announced, “I have a nephew though, from my sister.”

“That would be fine, he's related to you so technically heʼs a prince.”

One of the Queens suggested,“What if we add some Dukes or Lords here and there? That would spice up the event!” There were murmurs, agreeing to the statement.

“What about your mate? Don't werewolves have mates?” Queen Samantha inquired.

Aestrea pondered for a while before answering, “Werewolves have mates. It doesn't matter if I have one or not.”

“All these Princes or Lords should not have a mate, or whatever terms you call it.” Queen Lillian announced.

“What if their mateʼs already dead?”

“They can join, but that is on their terms.”

“What do we call this event?”

“The one?”

“Selection?”

“The chosen?”

“What about optivus? It's chosen in Latin?”

“I like that.” Aestrea nodded. “Who is in favor for optivus?” The rest of the Parliament agreed.

“We need to finalize the event and statement we will be having. So, Princess Aestrea of Ambrosia, Kingdom of Werewolves will have the first ever choosing ceremony that is the Optivus. It will be held in Xeres Castle, preferably two months from now.”
