Summary

"𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒚 𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎." ʏᴇs ᴛʜɪs ɪs ᴍᴀғɪᴀ (: 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 1 Copyrighted 2019 He's got blood on his hands, hatred in his veins and a black heart beating away in his chest. He's dangerous. He's a criminal, a murderer, a tsunami of anger, hatred and abhorrence. He keeps a few people close, yet they don't see his smiles and happiness. He's had it hard from the start, blood staining his hands from young, his mind corrupted. He thinks he's a disease, one that will destroy everything that comes close. But he can't seem to stay away from one girl who he thinks is too innocent and pure to be near him. She doesn't talk, she doesn't laugh and nobody has seen what she looks like. She's sweet, she's kind and she's undeniably in love with the one boy she should stay away from. She lives in a home where she is treated like something you can just throw away. She's lonely, and all she wants is a normal life. She's in love with a boy, a boy who doesn't even see her no matter how much she wants him to, a boy who hates everybody, a boy who's dangerous and feared. Warning: this story contains strong language and violence.(not too violent). It's also very cliche and contains some very possessive boys. Enjoy:-)

PROLOGUE

"𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬."

There's something about the way we were created that continues to fascinate me - more specifically, our eyes.

I find it so weird, that a person's eyes can bring out the deepest memories, the ones that stay hidden, tucked away in the depths of your heart. It's like smelling a certain fragrance that reminds you of your childhood.

Those candy-green eyes, like toffee apples from the carnival. Or the quiet, enchanting forest.

Those silvery-grey eyes, like clouds in a thunderstorm. Or the moon on the darkest night.

Those dark brown eyes, like chocolate that melts on your tongue. Or pools of sweet honey.

Those deep blue eyes, like the deepest oceans. Or the endless blue skies.

I've always wondered how people can read others' emotions just by looking at their eyes. How can you tell they are angry? How can you tell they are filled with love? I can never figure it out. I can never look into a person's eyes because, even if I can't figure out their emotions, they might see mine and that, that could be the death of me.

But then, when I think about it, I can remember some times in my life I probably did understand someone's feelings in their eyes.

Those dark eyes, like two black holes sucking me into a world of pain and suffering. But, eyes don't necessarily have to be dark to be evil. Like those green ones. I put all my trust in them only to be burnt down like a fire raging through a forest.

Then there's the good-

Those green eyes never judged me for anything I did.

Those grey eyes read me like a book.

That one boy with the crazy eye colours never failed to make my day.

Those brown eyes made me feel safe.

And those blue eyes, eyes so blue I drown, dragged me up from the depths of my sorrows.

I never wanted to fall. I never wanted to drown. I never wanted to get lost in a forest of emotion.

But I dared myself to look into their eyes, and I was never the same again.
