One rainy, cloudy day Destiny Connor and Zach were all sitting on the couch in Connor's basement, watching television. They flipped through countless channels, but the news channel was the one that shocked them all. "I am here today standing in front of the White House, where Donald Trump, and XI Jingping are creating a truce between America and China." Announced the reporter. All three teens were confused, "I can't believe China is forgiving America for the great bombing of China," said Zach. "I would never forgive somebody if they wore the same outfit as me... Let alone bomb my country!" Exclaimed Divinity. "Ok calm down guys, it has been a couple years for China to recover so it's good that they are if forgiving us." Conner sighed, he was the mediator of their friend group and he would never take a risk of either Zach or Divinity acting out. They kept watching until one had to take a bathroom or snack break. But even in their distractions they all knew the treaty was a little soon. Too soon.
