Chapter 1
Calla Smith
I am at the grocery because my brother told me that his best friend, which is the Alpha of our pack is coming over for dinner. I suddenly remember my mom she was the one who always do the cooking in our house but ever since she died I was the one who cooks. My dad was devastated when he saw my mom on the ground lifeless. Afterwards, my father followed her and I am honestly broken because of the death of my parents.
My dad is the beta of our pack Blood Moon Pack and he died my brother Cali takes over. Cali was 20 that time and that was five years ago. He and Alpha Julian were best of friends since they are kids. My brother already found his mate and I am living with them. Hannah my brother’s mate is pregnant with their first born so I decided to be the cook. No. I am always the cook cause Hannah isn’t great at it.
I just turned 18 last Monday and that was two days ago. My brother throws me a party but I didn’t found my mate. The Moon Goddess knows how much I want to meet him right now but at the same time I am wishing that it is Alpha Julian. I like him ever since we’re a child but he doesn’t know. Sadly, he didn’t attend my party because he was so busy over some stuffs.
Fanny, my best friend knows that I like Alpha Julian and she supported me but at the same time she always told me not to hope that much, because there is a possibility that he isn’t my mate and I know it. She already found her mate when she turned eighteen five months ago. He was a warrior and I can say that they are really good together.
When I already grab all the things that I needed I head to the counter to pay for the items.

I am starting to be anxious. If he isn’t my mate I will be really sad but at the same time if he is. What will I do? We never get along since we are little. We always fights over small things and I think I am always getting on his nerves. Will we be okay? Tsk.
~Flashback~
From the window at the second floor I can see at our backyards my brother and Julian playing. I really wanted to be close to Julian because I like him.
I am still young, but I can feel it. I like him.
And because I wanted to be closed to him. I stormed out of my room and went to where Cali and Julian are playing.
“Can I join playing cars with you two?” I happily said to the both of them.
“Yes.”
“No.”
I was confused because my brother said yes but Julian don’t agreed.
I look at him with a confused look.
“Why don’t you want me to join?” I asked him and you can hear disappointment in my voice.
“Because you are a girl and girls don’t play cars.” He said to me while looking at me directly into my eyes. Tears started to build up from my eyes. I let my tears rolled down to my cheeks and I glared at him before going inside our house.

I placed all the groceries at the trunk of my car and I entered and droved back to our house. As I park my car I saw Hannah watering the plants and when she sees me, she waved her hands at me and smiled at me. I returned her smiled to her.
I brought all the things that I bought from the grocery and started to sort it out before I started cooking. I hummed my favorite song as I cook and I always do this while cooking because It sets me in a great mood.

Julian Camden
I was sorting out papers at my office when my Beta Cali stormed inside my room. I continued what I am doing not I acknowledging his presence.
“You are being an ass Julian.” When It slipped through his lips it stirs something inside of me and I growled at him. I see him smirk at me by the reaction that he gets from me.
“You know Calla was waiting for you in her party when she turned eighteen days ago, but you didn’t come. She is sad you know.” I huffed at what he said and replied.
“She will be over it when she found her mate. You know that she takes a liking to me and I don’t want it.” I told him with a stern voiced.
“Okay if that helps you sleep at night.” I rolled my eyes at him and just focused again at what I am doing.
I saw from my peripheral looking at his watch before he sighed.
“Come on!” I stared at him with confusion at my face. He gasped dramatically and once again I rolled my eyes.
“Have you forgotten that you are dining with us today and don’t make another excuse Julian. You already agreed and besides you need to cool down man. You haven’t left this room for years.” He is here again being overly dramatic.
“Okay. Okay.” I told him whilst arranging my table and putting all things to their right places.
I stood up and I grabbed my coat and car keys.
Me and Cali make our way going outside the pack house. As I step outside before I headed to my car I command the guards about the things they do while I am gone.
My drive going to Cali’s house is a bit long. As I go further and further I got the view of Cali’s house it is a two storey and has a garden in front of it. I know Hannah loves gardening so it really is beautiful.
I step outside of my car and headed towards where Hannah is standing together with Cali who is caressing her swollen stomach.
“Alpha Julian, it is great that you decided to show up this time.” She told me with a smile on her face.
“I was pretty busy these days that’s why I don’t get the chance to go here last time.” She flash a sly smile at me.
“And I must say that there is someone whose eager to see you.” I rolled my eyes and just diverted the conversation to other.
“Who will we be dining with?” Hannah laughed while Cali chuckle.
“You, me, Cali, Calla, Fanny and Clay.” My forehead knotted, why would Clay dine with us? Could it be? Whatever.
We continue our conversation while we are heading towards their living room. Suddenly, I stopped when a scent lingers in my nose. My heart beats fast and Carl my wolf was chanting in my head the word “MATE” I looked at my right because it is where my mate is. My body froze when my eyes met an olive eyes staring at me whilst her mouth is agape.
