Chapter 1 - It's Just The Beginning
*Bailey's POV*
"Oh my god. Did you guys see that?" asks Katrina, looking up from her phone.
"See what?" I ask, all of a sudden curious.
"Well, Amelia just went on a picnic with her friends again,"
"Isn't that her third picnic for the week?" asks Jenevy.
"You mean third picnic for the day?" says Jessica with a wink.
"Amelia is such a spoiled brat if you ask me" says Lauren coming up from the stairs.
"No one was talking to you, Laur," says Jessica.
"Well, I don't even care," Lauren says rolling her eyes.
Lauren and Jessica are sisters. They have an older brother, too. He became a player after what happened with his ex.
Right now, were at their place to study but we finished early so we were just chatting though more like gossiping
"Whatev-"
'Ding Dong'
"Actually, Lauren, be useful and go open the door" says Jess making a signal for Lauren to go to the door.
Lauren rolls her eyes and goes.
Once she's out of our sight, Jessica makes the 'That was a close one' face.
"Hey sis, did you guys have a 4th friend come over?" we hear Lauren ask from the door.
"No, no one else was invited exept Jenevy, Katrina and Bailey" Jessica replies.
As we go to the door I make out the face of the one and only,
Amelia Miller.
When we reach the door we just stare in a shocked or surprised expression.
"What are you doing here?" asks Jessica, breaking the scilence.
"Well, your brother and I are going on a date today," says Amelia.
"Uh, are you sure?," asks Lauren in an annoyed tone.
"Asher, your date is here if you have one for the day," says Jessica.
"Oh, Amelia's here already?" asks Asher coming down the stairs in a tuxedo.
Jessica and Lauren look back and forth from Asher and Amelia.
"Your going to-" before Jessica can finish Asher cuts her off.
"Yes, me and Amelia are going on a date,"
Woah, this was a scene.
"Mother let you?" asks Jessica.
"Well, yes, she did let me go on a date with someone because no other girl was good for me," Asher says making Jessica roll her eyes.
"Oh dear, what's going on? Why is it so cold all of a sudden?" asks their mom who came from behind us.
"Oh Mother, didn't you say to Ash that he can't go on dates because he's dated so many girls?" asks Lauren.
"Well, that's before, but now, he's too old to be single like a mingle so he needs to go on dates," she replies.
"C'mon babe, let's go already" says an impatient Amelia.
"Have fun on the date," I call out as they head for her car.
"Alright! Bye guys have fun on your date" says Lauren clearly annoyed.
"Okay, now can you please close the door now?" asks Mrs White.
"Oh, right sorry Mom," says Jessica shaking her head.
As we go inside, I get a notification from my phone. It was from an unknown number. It read:
*Amelia, come to Junction Hospital as fast as you can, your Mother & Father are in bad conditions. -Dr. Ava & Dr. Rebecca*
"Are you okay, darling?" asks Mrs White.
That's when I realized that I was shaking a bit.
"I have to go. My parents there not in a good condition," I said trying to act calm.
"We'll come with you," said Jenevy making a signal for the others to agree.
"Yeah, we will," says Lauren.
"Where is it?" asks Jessica.
"Junction Hospital," I say.
"Alright, get in my car" says Mrs White.
The whole way there I felt dizzy. Really dizzy. They asked me a couple times if I was okay and every time I just answered the same, that I was fine.
"Were here," Mrs White called out.
"Bailey, come on," says Jen tugging on my arm.
I get out of the car and see a docter rushing towards the car.
"Is Bailey Winter in the car?" the docter asked hopefully.
"Yes, yes she is. We came here for her parents not paparazzi's," replied Jen in a rushed voice.
"Yes, I know, I'm Dr. Rebecca. Come follow me," she said.
"Bails, come on," said Jessica.
I follow from behind the group and when we reach the room, I feel my jaws hitting the floor.
