Chapter 1
" Isa... My eggs are burning again." Charlie says
" Oh gosh!" I mutter , disappointed that I forgot about his breakfast again.
After I plop the eggs onto a plate, I push them towards my very patient brother, I finish packing the last of his lunch and put it in his school bag.
I quickly pecked him on his forehead and dashed upstairs, I can't be late again... My biology Teacher will lock me out if I am.
I work two jobs and look after my younger brother, Charlie Green who is now starting his second week of grade 1.
My name is Isabella Green, I am 18. My mum died a year ago from leukaemia and my life is practically on the edge of falling apart, but I dont for my brothers sake... I have to be strong and bold for him.
My father left when Charlie was two years old. We have never seen him since, so it was just my mother and her two children. Everything was perfect even though we didn't have a father, my mother was an angel. She did everything for us until she got sick... and our worlds fell apart.
After she died Mum left the house to us. We were never wealthy, but we lived comfortably, and mum put away a sum of money for my university and alot extra which I pay towards Charlie's and my health.
I love to read , I love to dance , and I love my baby brother. I'm 18 and I've never had a boyfriend, never had my first kiss and I'm definitely a virgin.
I basically don't have a social life.
My best friend lives with us , her name is Alice and she helps me alot. After school I go to teach dancing lessons and after that it's late night shifts at the restaurant where I weigh tables, my shift ends at 10pm every night, so Alice picks Charlie up at school and sorts him out for the night.

" Charlie the bus is here !" I shout.
After a hot shower I jump into a casual outfit for school , lock up , jump into my car and head to school.
