Chapter 00| Death Of A Seer
At the beginning, The Seers, one born from each race across all the realms of existence stood side by side. But like all things come and go so did they along with any proof of their existence or way of life.
And so they faded into legend as was the custom of man. All traces of them vanish with time as it erases everything through the crumbling decay of the clocks endless ticks.
In the Year of Revelation, within the Silver Serpentine Sector, he, Doris Laven Lavishtca, The Last Seer, The Litharsee-are those who exist as both the fragile window or doorway between the worlds and the Gate of Litheria itself. Keeping the power from overflowing and storing that said power inside their bodies. Along with the role as The Keeper whose purpose is to protect these many worlds across the veils and that one (Litheria) from each other.
It a daunting task you have from birth. And it is said that they have the power to control the gate and it's inhabitants depending on their innermost potential. But at the same time there is a huge risk to this power. And if the Seer isn't careful they themselves will end up consumed by the gate becoming a source of not only its power. But their body and soul tortured. Slowly ripped apart until it becomes a new more powerful doorway to Litheria. Thus is the fate of the greedy. These Seers are born as twins but only one holds power over this gate. The other holds power over Chilanarix.
Chilanarix is often reigned over by the younger twin. And these seers are only ever the first born children of the eldest child.
Born only into a single specific family bloodline. The Main Family of Pureblood Silver Serpent Demi-humans. Said to have the ability to use magic from the sylphs or sprites of ole. The House of Lavishtca-was falsely accused, framed, murdered and died. Humiliated even after death by his own people.
Leaving his children all alone in the world and the love of his life to suffer by the hands of the people who abused his dearest flower (Doris's beloved) since long before they met and even after his death. When alive they eloped and planned to run away together but his beloved told him to save the children first, as such he sent the children to distant relatives in the night and it was on one of those nights that he was murdered. The five oldest of his kids the only witness from the building that was the rendezvous point with his brother where he tossed them in through the broken first story window to hide them from the people who were tailing them.
A great many years ago, Doris once said to his first born son Golya and daughter Wonderia that "This love of mine will one day kill me and on that day I'll have no regrets...except for...maybe just to most might seem small and insignificant...but to me are the world... my whole world...and not being there when you grow up and your siblings hatch and grow through the years...hurts just thinking about it but so does the idea of not seeing your mom again."
He spoke as if he knew his fate. As if he knew what was to happen next. Maybe that's because he did they say the twins seers of Lavishtca can see the fate and future of themselves and those around them and in some cases those they never met. And as if fulfilling a prophecy he died the night he came to visit the following week. The strangest part about this was that when he died he had a face that said he knew this would happen but he didn't even bother fighting back when they attacked for it would just prove them right.
Upon Doris' death the Gate of Litheria activated once more-just like it did before thousands of years before when even if just for a moment for some unknown reason he lost control of the gate and a certain girl wandered in to despairs depths-becoming open to all worlds. This was the start of the tragedy that could not be stopped.
