What was supposed to have been a happy time for April as she has made plans to retire from her position at the local university. She has met a wonderful man that she fancy spending the rest of her life. Her dreams becomes a nightmare when learns that Michael is missing and is presumed dead. Her attempts to get the police to take her serious is all but thwart until she meets a mysterious man who is willing to help her in her quest to find out what happened to Michael. Unbeknownst to April the one man that she has decided to place her trust in is the same man that is doing everything that he can to ensure that the police is looking at her as their only suspect. Will April get the happy ending that she wants and find Michael alive or will she be arrested for his untimely demise.
