A gentle breeze caressed her freckled face as the water rolled around her palm. She marveled at the feel of it dancing around her knuckles. She briefly caught her reflection in the water. A smile escaped her lips as she thought of Jesse, so sweet and beautiful. It had been as easy as breathing with the Tucks. They felt like her family, like they were home. “Go back to the spring.
