The Howl
"It's a really good book with a good plot. It's not like your average werewolf story. It's not even close to that. It's unique and I love it to death. This author is amazing and if you read this book, you won't regret it, I promise you."
The Howl Review
"I DNFd this halfway through (Eight chapters long at the time of this review). Spoiler-free review: I don't have much to say. It was funny and intriguing at the beginning, but by chapter four, it was unrealistic. In-depth, chapter-by-chapter thoughts (POSSIBLE SPOILERS): Chapter One: -Semi cliche start, but better than the alarm waking her up. -Very amusing! -This would be more engaging with more show rather than tell. -Good cliffhanger ending. Chapter Two: -There were several missed or misspelled words. -Unfortunately, I found this chapter very bland. This was not because it didn't have enough happening but because of poor execution. There was a lot of tell over show, info-dumping, and a poorly executed flashback. Chapter Three: -Ok. Colour me intrigued. I knew something was up, but I wasn't entirely sure where it was going. -I love knowing how characters style themselves, but Deya could use some streamlining. That sentence was lengthy and tricky to follow. -I'm sorry, but that phone conversation was not realistic at all. If you wanted to protect Tyler or the girls, you would refuse to tell them. If you wanted them to go there, you would simply tell them where he was."
