Chapter 1
Smoke, fire and cries of fight is ringing everywhere.
Lord Xaius is standing on the wall of fortress, he takes an arrow from his quiver infuses it with magical fire and shoots it at a shadow gargoyle.
His bow's magical powers was an advantage in war, it never missed a target it's magical properties made the arrow pursue it's target and kill it ,it also had the ability to increase the number of arrows after it is fired thereby engulfing the enemy hoard in a shower of arrows.
While Xaius was busy Killing creatures of shadow a shadow gargoyle sneaked up on him , just as he was about to defend himself a bright ball of energy hit the creature in chest and it dissolved into shadow.
"Every time you need me to save you ,what are you going to do when I'm not around 😘😘"said a woman in battle gear .
"Ellara😊" said Xaius with a smile on his face and then he kissed her , pulling back he asked "what is the battle report ?" . Ellara smiled and said "We are winning the forces of 'Shadow court' are weakening , it's only a matter of time before we win.
Suddenly the ground started to shake and wide cracks appeared on Earth and a gigantic monster came out and started attacking elven troops.
"Oh please tell me that isn't DREAD LORD! , For the sake of Light , he is too powerful!".
DREAD LORD swatted away elve troops like they were insects. Lord Xaius liiked around , everywhere his soldiers were running to save themselves suddenly a deathly call settled on him he knew what to do.
He told the priestess of light to take the children and two adults to the safe haven constructed in the mountains far away. He called the troops back to the fortress ,then he called the civilians to come near the gates .
"What are you planning to do?" Asked Ellara placing a hand on his shoulder , he replied to everyone using magic to amplify his voice"This war was caused by our people we will be the ones to end it, if we are going to die we will die fighting till the last breath , we must make a sacrifice to banish them back to Shadow realm so our children will be safe, those who are willing to do so can step up and protect our children and this world, or run like a coward from the shadow court for the rest of your life".
This seemed to inspire all people because everyone had a determined look on their face and people started coming forward. The DREAD LORD called out in his thunderstorm like voice " You cannot beat me you pathetic weaklings, elf magic can't rival my infinite powers. Surrender , your death will be swift if not I will torture so much that you'd wish you died!".
Xaius turned to his people"don't listen to him , believe me after every darkness will come the light , while we are alive we still have hope everyone ready? You know what we must do , we must sacrifice ourselves for the better future of our children and this world".
With that Xaius turned to Ellara and said " see you in the next life honey!".
Then everyone raised their hands in front of them and collectively shouted "CORPUS SEPERATEUM , PORTALIS PROTECTUM!!!! " .
Everyone's life force drained out of them a it struck DREAD LORD and his minions banishing them back to Shadow realm.
The whole elven civilization was thus destroyed.
