A stunned expression was plastered on his face and he tilted his head towards the small girl on his arms that woke up due to his obnoxious screaming.

"Oh my sweet little pumpkin won't you come home with mommie?" the petite man cooed in a honeyed tone.

"Nah" Astrid shook her head in respond, her thumb again in her mouth.

"Nah?"

"Atee stay dawddie!" The little girl replied, giving the man that was holding her a big hug.

Qiang smirked at the reply, making sure that the smirk on his face is visible to the blonde man in front of him but the latter only gave him an evil smile in return.

"Well..." he drawled with the annoying smirk still on his face,"looks like

As soon as the words came out of the blonde guy's mouth, a big bald man came out out of nowhere from behind the poor Qiang and clearly lifted him up as if he weighed nothing not before some other muscular guy has taken the overexcited Astrid and put her in a black limo.

YES A FREAKING LIMOUSINE!

"This is illegal! You can't kidnap me or take my daughter with you! I'll call the cops on you all!" The poor kidnapped boy screamed out, throwing some not-so-painful punches at Brandon.

"Meh this is my domain and everything here, in this town is mine so that means you're mine from now on" the petite man approached the raven haired guy and pecked his lips!

What the hell!

"How dare you!? Who do you think you are!?"

This damn man is a freaking lunatic!

"W-what?" Devyl Da Silva? The most wanted mafia boss of all the time? The one and only invincible mafia family that have taken down the top three mobsters at the same time and still haven't been caught and is literally the king of everyone, including the government? Wait! What the hell is he so erm small and lean!? Aren't mobsters supposed to be ripped like hell!?

Picking up the small girl that definitely looked scared Qiang let his gaze on her, examining her physical appearance. The girl was the exact child version of a barbie doll with the perfect strawberry blonde hair and big blue eyes, not forgetting the small patch of freckles around her small buttoned nose and baby full lips.

Qiang frowned. He was simply a college student and a Chinese-American with the usual monolid hazel eyes and thin lips and not forgetting his hair is black as coal. This kid looked nothing like him and Qiang didn't even date any blonde in the previous three years so where did this kid come from!?

Who the hell left her on my doorstep!?

He just was returning home after finishing his project work with his classmates.

The young man smiled nervously at the small kid that was staring at him with a gigantic smile on her face.

"Erm-what's your name?"

"No no! Atee!"Zipping down her pink jacket, she pointed to me her shirt on which a big 'Astrid' is written.

"Oh your name is Astrid!"

"Yes!" She claps her hand in excitement.

"Ok Astrid. Tomorrow I'll take you to the police station and-"

"No no! Atee stay wuw papa!"

"Okay okay let's go inside."

"W-what do you mean!?" Qiang banged his hand on the hard desk. "She isn't my daughter! I found her on my doorstep yesterday!"

"Sir please stop refraining from fulfilling your parental responsibility or else you'll be jailed for at least three years and your child will be put in an orphanage," the police officer said on a monotone voice.

"B-but she's no-"

"No more excuses mister or else you'll face the consequences right away. And also one of my colleague will be visiting your house every week to check whether you're taking care of your daughter correctly or not. You may leave now."

"Ugh! Come on Astrid let's go," taking her tiny hand, the frustrated college student dragged the little girl out of the police station.

This is all messed up! This is going to affect my reputation! No chicks is going to sleep with me now! Oh my goodness please someone help me!

"Shut up! I'm in this mess because of you!" She immediately puts her thumb back into her mouth.

Oh God! I need a drink!

Picking her up, Qiang set her on a nearby bench. " Stay right here and don't move!"

After giving the frustrated Qiang a timid nod, the young man ran into the bar, that's two shops away from the bench Astrid was sitting on.

"Hey man!" Killian, the friendly bartender greets him. "Isn't it too early for ya to drink?" The man questioned.

Killian was still in his early thirties and single like a pringle. Moreover being a regular customer, it was inevitable for them to have a friendship.

"Just give me the usual. I'm in a hurry."

"What gotta you in such a stress?"

"A kid," downing the liquor in one go,Qiang ordered another one, still not cooled down.

"Hehe whose kid?" Killian asked amusingly. He knew children was a living nightmare for the young man and that he was always avoiding meeting or even babysitting any kids, so where the hell did a little monster come from?

"Mine," in a split of second, the bottle that Killian was holding, broke into thousand pieces. The bartender gaped at the college student, hoping that he misheard his young friend.

Not my fault. Not gonna pay for that.

"Y-yours? Since when!?"

"Since yesterday," Qiang answered back nonchalantly.

"W-where is the kid!?"

"Outside."

"Outside!?" He fumed. "Two freaking men just came into my shop and were talking about child trafficking in Spanish! They went out one minute before you came in!" Killian slapped his stupid friend, not believing that the man standing in front of him was so brainless and irresponsible.

"Shit!" The newly dad rushed out of the bar with both of his fists already clenched and ready to punch any of those motherf*ckers if they even put their eyes on his daughter!

I mean that kid! Not my daughter!

From the corner of his eyes, he could see two suspicious men trying to drag his daughter with them.

"Hey you! Back off from her!" Skipping to where those motherf*ckers were trying to take Astrid, Qiang punched the nearest one whereas the other disappeared on the spot, having witnessed his partner in crime collapses on the floor.

"Papa!"

"Astrid! Are you okay princess?"

God, what's with the endearment..

"Okay kay! Oww papa hurt?" Holding the 23 years old man's fist with both of her tiny fist, Astrid placed a quick kiss on it. "🎶Pain pain go away-"

"It's rain rain go away not pain princess," Qiang corrected the kid earning a playful scoff from her. The action making the raven haired man to laugh vividly.

" why don't we go get some ice cream?"

"Yes! Stawberrie i' cream!" Astrid giggled in excitement.

"Okay but don't call me papa."

"Okay dawddie!"

"No-forget it. Let's go!"

"Argh!" Qiang's hand automatically clutched the back of his head as pain invaded him.

"Ugh! You infuriate me! Get out!" Shrugging, the petite got up from the loveseat he was in and left the room without forgetting to freaking slam the door.

"God...where am I?" plopping down on the king sized bed, Qiang stared at the diamond-like chandelier hanging on the white ceiling. Everything in the room that was obviously bigger than the size of his appartment was literally screaming luxe, every furniture looked like they costed more than his kidneys if he sold them.

"That son of a b*tch is really showing off his wealth by keeping me imprisoned in this mwah mwah room!" Qiang scoffed idiotically, letting out a yawn. "Well I might as well -yawn- enjoy while I'm here." Gulping down the painkiller, the young man snuggled into the comfy blanket and slept, hoping that whatever he's going through is just a nightmare.
