Better than Canon

"I know. That is a lot of five star ratings ... but what can I say? This story merits every star. Maybe even a few more. You should read it and see for yourself. ScapeArtist did the impossible in this story. She presented a younger version of a character (Killian Jones) in a way that was entirely believable AND gave hints of the man he would become. As if that weren't enough, she did it again with a lesser known character as well, Killian's brother Liam. Seeing him as a young man coming suddenly into adult responsibility was poignant and sobering. Even with the adventure/danger/mystery of this story, there is still the perfect sprinkling of humor. Also, if you have read more from ScapeArtist, you'll find again that her attention to detail is brilliant, giving a full and absorbing picture for the reader without ever becoming tedious. I wish I knew how she did it. She's a marvel. So, with that said, please do read this story if you have any fondness for sailing, mystery, or Killian Jones. Or if you just want a good, solid read. You won't be disappointed!"
