The stuff about their training and modelling for Bodyglove tends to get a bit longwinded. I liked the jokes about Patricia Cornwell being a forensic accountant and captain Merrill (Stubbs). "I love that this isn't your typical rejected mates werewolf love story. The female lead is strong and independent. She doesn't let things keep her down and works hard for all that she obtains. The author does an excellent job at keeping to the plot and is detailed in writing all of Vicki's adventures. "

Loved that she broke the stereotype mold of being beautiful and smart: She's got brawn and brains and knows how to use muscle and wits to defend herself.
