The Kids
The kids are a tad confusing, for sure, from where they all live, to their ages, the characters are quite confusing.
Setting, is where the story takes place, and for the kids, where they live. Now, there are many instances where the kids can be seen in different places in the world, like when Jade appeared at the Strider apartment for a split second and returned home right after.
John and his Dad, along with his Nanas spirit, live in a house located in Washington. Rose and Mom, live in a mansion, surprisingly isolated, in New York. Dave and his Bro live in an apartment in Texas, their home is seen littered in plushies and puppets made by Bro. Jade and Becquerel(Bec) live isolated on an island called Kiribati.
The Alpha kids live in the same places: Jane living in Washington, Roxy living in an isolated mansion in New York, Dirk living in a Texas apartment, and Jake living on Kiribati.
Personality is another very important thing about these characters, as watching characters change and interact is usually quite hilarious in homestuck.
