The World's Greatest Technology

Decades ago, social media was only a simple site for getting to be social. Have you remembered Friendster and MySpace? ~ they were just simple budding apps that were introduced to us. But since the developers have seen potential in this technology, they have spent many hours to innovate more possibilities that we can use to help us in performing our daily jobs right now.

In 2005 to 2007, Facebook was not that really a hype when it comes to social media yet a few more years later, it became the number one social media application that most of us are using. Twitter and Instagram also appeared around that time but it was not that catchy for users to use this technology. The coming of Linkedin is like a Digital resume to us and followed later by Pinterest which trends for users who are artistic and organized in everything. Then, apps like Whatsapp, Viber and Flashat came to replace SMS and revert users to IM or Instant Messaging apps.

Fast forward, social media was not only the key for our lifestyle but it has also brought many businesses (in all sizes) to promote what products or services they want to sell through the use of social media platforms. Today, social media was actively used by many universities and colleges to make use of the technology for the betterment of education.

Social media brought us a lot of excitement in life. Last two decades up to this point was a real advancement for humankind as we continue to develop and produce technology for the success of the future. As someone who spends nearly every waking hour connected in some way, including both personal and business, this really brings the world not apart from each other.
