Individuality

In a world that seems to be cold and corrupt at times, people often feel hurt by the world and want to hurt it back. When I was growing up, I used to find myself in a milieu where people were trying to impress everyone. Today, I am at that stage of life where I can talk about conceptual theories of life.

We resonate our ideas, doctrines and beliefs with the notion of conforming. I am a firm believer in the hypothesis of “Projects of Worth”. Susane Wolf rendered the idea of actually questioning our existence. Either we are engendered for some specific and discrete rationale or our individuality is random. Individuality is nothing but a conglomerate structure of idiosyncratic disposition and response to the perceptiveness.

If we talk about the pleasures of life, the first word that comes along with it is happiness. This is where hedonism unfolds. The belief that pleasure and happiness are intrinsically valuable and are of utmost pre-dominance brings up the fact that pain and sadness are disvaluable.

All of us, in our lives must have gone through some process and the spot we are in today is because we made choices. Life bestows innumerable choices and we decide. We choose. For ourselves. Existentialism is what made us all individuals.

A stoic person will always crave for inner peace and in that sense, we all have yearned for it or we still are yearning for it. Stoicism is experienced by everyone.

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” - Howard Thurman
