Summary

Poetry is ordinary language raised to the Nth power. Poetry is boned with ideas, nerved and blooded with emotions, all held together by the delicate, tough skin of words. Poetry is emotion put into measure. The emotion must come by nature, but the measure can be acquired by art. Read some of the most heartbreaking poems authored by Disha.

Desolation

Heartbreak? Desolation?

0

Probably, I never understood it before;

0

it used to sound like permission,

0

albeit retroactive? To hurt someone.

0

Now it seems like that no more,

0

Perhaps, I went through it, I understood better,

0

Only a lover can wound to the core,

0

the level of trauma gets worse than before.

0

Somehow he broke me and watch me bleed,

0

After seeing me raw, seeing me pure,

0

What was your intention? Was it greed?

0

Why put a shard in my guts that never leaves.

0

What does it matter now?

0

What was once a whole, is now shattered,

0

where once was peace, is emptiness.

0

All I have is anger, suspicion, and an averted gaze.

0

And finally, when I pour myself out,

0

neither I scream, nor I shout;

0

I just say, in a prayerful whisper-

0

"Thank you, my dear, thank you for making me stronger, in and out."

How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...
