"So I've read a lot of books already in my life and I have a lot of favorite genres of books but my very favorite is science fiction. I read a review of this book over at Amazon and the guy was not into it and said it wasn't his cuppa tea...that was how he put it. But if he hadn't have admitted that this is not his favorite genre I would have totally been stumped as to why he didn't like this book. But seeing that he doesn't get into science fiction, it all made sense. However having read all of it I couldn't help thinking from time to time, that it was this guy's loss. Anyway for all of us that do like sci-fi this book is excellent and I mean that's no joke! It kept my interest from the get-go and I found it to be very well written with great characters, exciting action and the plot was extremely fascinating in my opinion. But mostly regarding the book when I got to a certain point in this book I thought I really hope he makes a sequel to this, that's how much I loved it. The only criticism is the fact that he killed off Raek's love interest Gedda which I prayed that he wouldn't go there but he did. However all in all this was a very enjoyable book."
