Notes
The specific setting of the story will not be mentioned, although it can be implied that the story takes place somewhere in the Philippines as some of the dialogues are vernacular to the country. Some of the character’s dialogues here in this work may be in Filipino. The dialogues in Filipino will be italicized and its direct English translation will just be below the exact dialogue. There will also be times when a character will speak while interchanging his/her language into Filipino and English, the same format for the direct English translation will be shown after.
