To those who would read my work or are nervous about writing their own:
There’s a theory that states: everything that COULD happen... does. In an infinite number of universes running parallel to our own, every possible permutation of reality from moment to moment exists.
It is from this bottomless well of possibility that a writer draws forth a new reality. It is because that reality exists somewhere that we feel connected to the places and characters we read about. It is why I love Atreyu, Skippy The Magnificent, and Zaphod Beeblebrox; why I cried for Cedric Diggory, Ender Wiggin, and Amberle Elessedil; why I have walked a thousand worlds in a thousand times, led gently by the hand of Terry Pratchett, Andy Weir, and Mercedes Lackey and thrown violently into them by Patrick Rothfuss, Joe Abercrombie, and Stephen King.
Truly, the realm of the writer is infinite. Every man, woman, and child can reach into that well of imagination and produce a real world for the rest of us to visit.
Everyone has a story. Someone wants to read yours.
