“I could stare at that handsome face for ages and I won’t get bored...”

All my thoughts were crashed by Mr.Kingsley’s loud scolding. “Mr.Rivera! Out of my class, now! And you are next Miss Baker,” the teacher pointed his index finger towards me.

He was always yelling at that angel in a human’s body, Noah Rivera...

He wasn’t a model but he should have been. His slicked noir hair reflected his shiny aqua-blue eyes that were orb round and darted constantly, a-gleam with delight and the vigour of youth. They could resemble two liquid-blue pools of flashing fire. His mountain peak cheekbones appeared chiseled into shape by a master craftsman

Noah shrugged his shoulders as if it became a routine to hear the words “out of my class”. He grabbed his black backpack and walked out of the class as if nothing has just happened.

I have had a crush on him for a while now despite of me knowing that I am not even his type!

Nerd, shy, introvert... That was me while he was bad, outgoing, cool and always surrounded by hitches.

Neither did we attend the same school, nor live in the same city. The only place I got to see him in was this English course. He is living in the same city where we attended the course, but I had to travel to attend as I was living in a nearby country.

I bet he has never seen me other than the nerd girl I am. Maybe he doesn’t even know about my existence, I have never noticed him glancing at least.

1 Year Later...

My dad got a new job at a better city! We were finally able to move from our Stone Age house. I had to leave all my childhood memories behind and worse my best friend, Leila, who I shared every little detail of my life with. Making friends would be an impossible mission to fulfill. That’s because all students are now grouped and I will just be a nobody, again.

It took us 3 hours to arrive at our new house. I spent the hours in texting my best friend and sleeping.

“Wow!” Amazed, I got out of the car, my eyes enlarged as I skimmed our brand new, bigger house.

We got our bags out of the car and started exploring the grand house.

“There’s a swimming pool too?! Awesome!” I jumped up and down excitedly.

“Tomorrow, you are going to start again with new people and school. Please don’t get yourself in troubles, sweetheart.” My Mum uttered after kissing my forehead. I nodded, “nighty!”

“Nighty, sweetie!” I answered.

I couldn’t worry less about troubles. Who would care about my existence. I am just going to be a ghost, get myself straight A’s, then attend my college peacefully. Yup, that’s my plan!

The Next Day...

I forgot to unpack my stuff yesterday, so I opened my traveling bag to get myself some cleansers and makeup. I am not the type who take care of their looks, but it’s the first day of school! As I rummaged through my stuff, I found a suspicious bag, I am sure I never put! There was a letter with it and thus I opened it...

“It’s your first day in a new school, wear this and appreciate your sexy self ;)”

I let out a small giggle, how much do I love that girl. I opened the bag thrilled to see the outfit.

It was a white, off-shoulder, chiffon crop top with a pair of denim hot shorts. I am definitely not wearing that on my first day of school! What an impression I will make with that?!

I finished washing my face and putting light makeup.

“D@mn! Where are all my outwears?! Ughh Leilaaaa!”

I wish I didn’t binge watch movies yesterday and got my lazy ass up to unpack. I face palmed myself. How could someone be so clumsy!

I stared for a good while a the outfit Leila gave me then sighed, “guess I only have you now.”

After putting the outfit on and finishing my hair into a messy bun, I looked at myself in the mirror, “why am I even trying? My ass is sticking out of this sh!t. Everyone will make fun of me, I-I am just s-o ugly”.

I went downstairs to grab my breakfast...

“That’s my hot girl right there,” my Mum was trying to cheer my up even though I saw her worried eyes. She knows I don’t usually wear these kind of revealing stuff.

“Your dad went to work so I will drive you to school,” my mum cut the uncomfortable silence. I just nodded as an answer. Grabbing her car keys, she hopped in the car and I did the same...

“M-Mum, I want t-to go shop-ping. I d-don’t h-have any clothes.”

“That explains what you are wearing, it’s Leila, right?” My mum laughed a little bit before kissing my forehead, “have fun, sweetie.”

Her smile was bright and reassuring, I smiled back at her and went ahead.

“Th-That’s AMAZINGGG!”

This school was 2x bigger than my old one! That’s heavenly appealing!

Just as I took my first step inside the school, I was welcomed with the loud noises and shouting of all the students. It was a total mess!

“Never judge a book by its cover,” I sighed while face-palming myself and took further steps inside...

I noticed some people staring at my body; I looked down with my shoulders hiding some of my face.. I was really embarrassed.

I should be at the headmaster’s office to get my timetable...

After what seemed like ages, I finally saw a label with Headmaster on it!

“Found ya!”

After greating the old grandpa sitting inside the office and getting my timetable, I was finally out of that rusty pun-filled prison!

“New here?” I heard a sonorous, rumbling voice coming from behind me; I turned around to locate the source...

He is...so handsome! His hair was Achilles-gold and coiffed to perfection. His eyes had the same startling clarity as a mountain stream and the lineaments of his face were in perfect proportion to each other. His had an Irish accent.

“Y-Yes,” I answered his question.

“That’s why I have never seen you before!”

I looked down...F!ck my shy self!

“Oh it’s Aiden by the way,” he extended a hand for me

I hesitated at first but then I shook his hand, “Darien...Darien Baker”.
