Note to My Readers
I have written poems before on another writing platform, Wattpad, however, nothing as personal and as close to my heart as these poems are. Moreover I have lost a lot of motivation to write any form of poetry but not the inspiration. I often overthink the poems that I want to write and end up talking myself mentally out of it before my pen touches paper or my fingers touch the keyboard.
So I just want you all to know this especially since it has been a few years since I've posted or written anything where I know the possibility of someone who knows me could end up reading my work.
Oh one thing - I can't rhyme to save my life at least complex ones. I know cat and rat rhyme but don't ask me what rhymes with unicorn 😅
