Escape and Terror

Summary

Russ Badjer is a murderer serving a life sentence in Upstate New York. He plots with the other prisoners a major escape. Russ takes advantage of Nicole Rellik, a renegade and flirtatious guard whom he seduces and recruits her to smuggle in weapons of mass destruction for the escape. With major budget cuts from Albany, the prison does not have the resources to prevent the weapons from being smuggled into the prison. When everyone is ready, Russ and the prisoners break out of prison, kill all the employees, set fire to the town and then head off to their hiding place for Nicole to arrive and transport them to Canada in a tractor-trailer. But Nicole does not show up as she has just been hospitalized after a heart attack, and the escapees are forced to make the trip on their own on foot. After getting involved in several shootouts, the gang is reduced to only ten by the time they cross into Canada. But once there they are gunned down by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
