Chapter 1

In a small town in Kansans, there was a small town called Smallville, where a 17-year-old boy named Charlie lived, quite tall and strong for his age, short black hair, blue eyes; he was a special boy, but he himself didn't know he was, he could do things that no one would be able to do.One day he asked his father, whose name was Jonathan Kent and worked as a farmer on his farm (right, I forgot to tell you that his parents lived on a farm that was very rich in livestock and was quite robust and had some wrinkles for his age, short, curly and blond hair and green eyes) as he was never different from the other boys, and he replied calmly (as usual) that he is not of this planet but that he arrived in a spaceship during the meteorite rain. Then we ask ourselves: "where does this Charlie Kent come from?" Then we think he is an alien, but the absurd thing was that this boy looked like any normal boy, he didn't have any sign or symbol that came from another planet, he didn't seem at all like an alien like we imagine: little ones and all green. Then the son replied with sarcasm:<< and what are they? A kind of alien? If I'm an alien I should have a spaceship! >><< really that is in the cellar, son! >> the smiling father answered him.So they both went to the cellar and found a spaceship, poor Charlie didn't know what to think, but he was certainly very upset and fortunately his parents explained that he was special and that they loved him and Charlie was happy.

1 year already passed and it came the last year of high school, Charlie couldn't believe it that soon he'll get the diploma and he won´t be able to see his friends daily as he was used to. The future looks so scary for him with so many questions. "Welcome back everyone. This is the last year for us." The teacher started. "So we need to do our best ok?" All students shouted a big 'yes'. "This year there will be someone new with us. Come in." The teacher I! looking at the door doing the sign with his hand. Charlie was confused. From the door entered a tall girl: her skin so light, her hair shirt to her shoulders and eyes like golden, wearing a casual blue jumper and a pair of jeans and a pair of white adidas shoes, she was holding a few books and notebooks on her arms. She looked pretty, Charlie thought. She was standing at the side of the teacher, she looked nervous and a bit sad. "This is Anna. She moved from Japan. She is having an hard time so be nice with her." All students nodded again. "Feel free to sit there where Kent is." Anna obeyed, before to sit Charlie was waving his hand to her as saying 'hi' and she did the same, Charlie was sure that he saw a small smile in her face before she could sit in front of him but turned to the teacher direction. At the end of the lessons, on the way out of school, Anna was sure that she heard something, or someone, there she focused with her super listen power as she was trained to: "Where do you think you are going Kent?" "Whitney?" "There is something of you that is bothering me. I don't like that you're being close to my girlfriend." "I think you misunderstand." Anna heard other laughs. "Not at all." Damn, Anna thought. She didn't like what she was listening to, she checked everywhere to make sure to don't be seen then already was in a second behind 5 football guys surrounding the guy she barely met today that looked pale, not so well. That made her very upset. Everything will be fine, be brave, do what you learnt as your uncle taught you, Anna thought. "The party is over." The 5 guys turned to her direction and started to laugh. "This is not your business." Said the blonde guy, Anna recognised his voice, Whitney, from his look he must be the football chief and his girlfriend surely the cheerleader chief Lana. "When it's about situations like this, it's always my business. 5 against 1? So cowards!" Anna you have to control your angryness as you were trained to. "Who is she, Kent? Your girlfriend?" Another guy said laughing with the others. "A woman came to save you." "I'm not going to repeat it again 'Leave him!'" "Otherwise?" This time was Whitney speaking again. "Better if you didn't ask." One of the guys came closer to her and Anna faced them in a normal human fight using all the martial arts and training that she grew up with and in a second the 5 guys were all facing the ground. Anna went close to Charlie, he was wearing a green kryptonite neckless on his neck. Was it for that he was feeling sick? She thought. She gently took it off from his neck and went back to Whitney that was still facing the floor, she rudely turned him with the face looking up. "Isn't this your girlfriend's neckless that she was looking for? What would be her reaction if she finds out where it has been all this time?" She grabbed his right hand in a way that was taught to her hurting him a bit. "Apologise to him now or it will hurt more." Whitney obeyed. "Sorry Kent." Charlie nodded. She left his hand. "You have 30 minutes to tell about it to your girlfriend and to the school president and accept the consequences of your actions or I will do it." He obeyed as the other guys leaving the place. Anna came back to Charlie that slowly was lifting himself from the floor. "Are you ok? Are you hurt?" "I'm fine." Anna was helping him to gently stand up. Charlie liked that touch and the rest she did. "And you?" She nodded. "But you're bleeding." Anna looked her hand. She got a small cut. "Oh, well if you're fine I'll go to medicate myself." She was already going before he could find out about her secret then she heard from far: "Thank you." Anna smiled at him then she left.
