Great story so far

"I like the different angle in which this book is written. We always we are superior, but chances are that is not the case at all. Great job in writing this book so far! "

Imaginative and interesting

"Really great world building - lots of interesting details, such as mining the space slugs and how they turn into asteroids. There are some very imaging concepts that I’ve never seen in other books/movies about space. It’s great to see these new ideas. Some parts are a bit repetitive - still interesting, but occasionally something will be said in the narration that is repeated in the narration surrounding a different conversation or in setting up a different scene. I’m still wondering about some of Jonathan’s emotional responses - it’s hard to tell if he’s beaten down about being a human? He clearly agrees with everyone’s opinions about humans, but I would imagine that would lead to some self hatred, which I don’t see. And he doesn’t get that sad when learning about his parents. Did he never wonder who they were? Are there many human children in orphanages? Was he taught that humans are too emotional so he controls himself a lot? Overall, very interesting with lots of potential, but could use a bit of refining. I’m enjoying it a lot. "
