Heartbreakingly sad

"I've loved Wire in the blood for a long time, both the books by Val McDermid and the TV series, so it's nice to find fan fiction based on the show. I've always wondered what would've happened to Tony after the show's finale, after he had killed Michael and I think this makes perfect sense. The author managed to really capture both Carol and Tony, as well as all their doubts and fears. The ending is just too heartbreakingly sad. Get a box of kleennex and prepare to cry your eyes out, you won't regret reading this story."
