My Simulator Life

Jane’s POV) I would say the first time I and Kyle met was in a coffee shop named "Sleepy bean Cafe" it was a small little coffee shop, so not many people were there, I remember it was early in the morning so I didn't have much energy, not to mention that I was late for work. By the way, I live in Las Angeles but anyways I paid for my Iced Mocha Latte, grabbed it, and started walking in the direction of the door. Kyle walked in the coffee shop, and yep you guessed it I spilled my coffee all over his shirt. I remember the look on his face when he first saw me. I also remember how his beautiful ocean blue eyes gave me butterflies in my stomach. I never wanted to look away from them. It was like staring right into the ocean on a beautiful sunny day.......but enough of that. I quickly started apologizing.

Jane: "Oh MY LORD I'M SO SORRY I-\\ as I'm apologizing I started to notice that he was staring at me. His eyes looked so full of curiosity, it was like he had just seen a walking miracle.

Jane: "Ummmm hello???, ok I'll just go now"\\ I blushed bright red and covered my face with my hands. I quickly started walking away forgetting all about how late I was for work. And still thinking about his ocean blue eyes.

If you thought that was cute wait till I tell you what happened after I got off from work. I always go to a park that's pretty close to my workplace. I sit under a certain tree {an oak tree} it’s the one my grandfather took me too for my birthday. I go there every day and just “talk” to him, but enough about that as I was walking to my oak tree THERE HE WAS AGAIN! He was sitting under the oak tree watching the birds, squirrels, people passing by with their dogs, he was just taking the scenery in. As I walked towards him sitting under the tree I said,

Jane: "It's an amazing spot huh?”.\\ He had a shocked look on his face as he stuttered

Kyle: “M-more than amazing, i-it’s gorgeous and it's so calming it's like I could just live here”.\\ I chuckled.

Jane: “You know my grandfather used to take me here when I was a young girl before he died of a heart attack, he always used to say ["If you ever find yourself stressed out about something come here and talk to me about it, I’ll always listen to my little shortcake"] I never forgot those words."\\ He smiled as he looked down and then back at me saying

Kyle: “Oh yeah, then why are you here?”,\\ I looked down to the ground, kicking the dirt around,

Jane: “Oh I don’t know, I just come here when I want some quiet time...I always tell my grandfather what’s going on in my life, no matter what! he’s always there to listen to me”. \\ he looked at me with such pity in his eyes.

Kyle: “ I-If you want me to leave...I can, I don't want to be a bother in your conversation with your grandpa”\\ I put a big smile on my face as I sat down next to him on his blanket. I suggested that he should stay and that I wouldn't mind the company. We both laughed and smiled, we talked for a while, he told me his name was Kyle Smith and that he was 24, which was almost unbelievable because I was 23. Before I knew it, it was 6:30 in the afternoon time had gone by so quickly.

As we both started to stand up, I remembered something that my friend told me.

Jane: “Hey you know the town always does this harvest festival every time new crops begin to grow, do you maybe....wanna go”?

Kyle: “YEAH I WANNA GO...I mean sure I bet it'll be fun”\\I laughed as he went on and on about how he always wanted to go to one but never got the chance to,

Jane: “Great so I’ll see you at 5:00 tomorrow then?”.

Kyle: “Hell yeah, you will”.\\ We exchanged phone numbers and he offered to walk me home since his house was in the same direction as mine. He dropped me off at my place. As I turned to say goodbye, he kissed me, my widened, but then I closed them, I drooped my keys as I kissed him back. So there we were just kissing and IT FELT LIKE HEAVEN I had never felt like that before, my heart was pounding and I felt my face turn red,

Kyle: "I'll see you later cutie,"\\ he said as he walked away.

Later the night I wasn't able to sleep or do anything, I don't normally get this kind of attention so it was very shocking for me, but I was so excited for the next day, but......................for some reason something seemed wrong with him when we were sitting down at the park, he kept looking around everywhere as we were was talking, and when I would laugh a little bit loud he always told me to keep my voice down, it was really weird but I didn't get too much into it I just thought he was shy or something, so I watched some TV and ended up sleeping on my couch......
