A Grim Tale in the Making!

"The grim setting at the edge of civilization was perfect for this story, with potential to see where this conflict between humanity and "the little ones" to come to a head. The characters we're unique and easily visualized by the author, the original design of The Eternal King has me eagerly wanting to know more about what lies within the forest. The dialogue was well defined and flowed naturally. The only criticism I would point out would be run on sentences. For example, the paragraph after The Woman says "I cannot make any promises, grandfather. But I will try." is one continued sentence that could be quickly resolved by ending the statement with a period rather than a comma. I also have this problem, so I understand the appeal to continue the flow of a sentence. Overall, a great setting, with diverse characters and a world that I desperately want to explore. Looking forward to the next installment of Pale Ashes!"
