chapter1. The struggle of school
Rose's pov
(bold letters are for the convo between the wolf and there human and texting as well)
It was the morning of Halloween and I was not ready for the school day I already had a feeling that I was going to be driven crazy by one person, who is like a little sister in a way
"Rose you need to get up and get ready or you're going to miss the bus,"
I rolled my eyes as I heard my mother's voice through the door. I got up and looked in my closet at my options on what to wear today. I sighed and smiled as I saw the black dress that my best friend gave me before I moved to my little town called Wolf's Cove, A town that only had 900 people in it, yet I loved it here. The wood's were right behind my house if I needed to get away from my family. I was always there, in the woods. Everyone in my family considered me the black sheep of the family. I never understood why they did I finished getting dressed, grabbed my backpack and phone and headed out the door. I waited for the school bus. I looked up at the sky and smiled. The moon was still out, even though the sun was coming up. I could hear the bus as it came down the road, I watch as it drove up to where I was standing. The bus stopped, the door slid open I stepped up onto the bus. I walked all the way to the back and sat down. I looked out the window, as we drove to the school. I could still feel the feeling that my best friend. was going to bug the shit out of me. That's all I needed. was for her to piss me off. I closed my eyes and relaxed, almost falling asleep but didn't due to the fact the bus had arrived at the school. I stood up and yawned,walking down the aisle and I got off the bus I walked into the building and headed to the lunch room. I sat down and pulled my backpack to the front of me and open it, and pulled out my drawing book and start a new drawing. It was of a wolf that was jet black with golden eyes. I was so into my drawing, I didn't see my best friend Izzy walk up to me. She was all pissed off
" Hey Rose I got to ask you something"
I sighed and turned to see my best friend Izzy. She was jumping up and down like a crazy person.
"what is it that you need to tell me so badly and make it fast. I am not in the mood for it today"she sat down with an evil grin
"well, you know i been seeing some one older than me right? " I just shook my head so she continue
"anyway my boyfriend is having a halloween party and he wants me to invite some of my friends. since you are my best friend you are the first one I'am asking. plus he wants to meet you" I glared at her and packed my stuff up
"i don't know Izzy. My mom isn't going to let me go on a school night" I could see it in her eyes that was getting, annoyed and didn't like that I wasn't saying yes
"look just tell your mom you'er going to stay my house and we are going to have a girls night talking about girl stuff and make up" I sighed and shrugged my shoulders, I mean who am I kidding. She was not going to get off my back about it
"give me till lunch and I will call my mom and see what she says. If she says no, don't bug me about it, ok? You know I like being on my own." She just smiled, sat down and started eating her food ~man this is not going to be a good day for me i can just feel it~ as this thought ran through my mind. I heard the bell ring for us to go to class. I looked over to where Izzy was, only see her talking to one of her friends. I got up and grabbed my backpack and walked to my math class. I walked into the class room and sat down. and started doing the math work coping the work off the bored and decided to do the home work so i didn't have to worry about it when I get home. I look to see what time it is on my phone and saw its almost time for the bell to ring for the next class. I packed up my stuff and got ready to leave. I looked around the class and sighed. I placed my head down on the desk and waited for a ding on my phone. It dinged a second later. I picked up the phone to see the messages from Izzy. I rolled my eyes thinking ~Great, what could she possibly want now~
text messages
Izzy:hey don't forget to ask your mom about staying to night. Girl we are going to have so much fun and you will get to meet my boyfriend. I think you'll find him hot.
Me: Izzy really I don't need to know how hot your boyfriend. Is ok? Stop bugging me we'er in class, you know you'r going to get me in some shit. Look the bell just rang I will see you in class.
I locked phone and shook my head. I got up as the bell rang and walked out of the room, headed to my next class. I made it to english class and sat down. The classes flew by and before I knew it, it was lunch. I sighed as I got up knowing very well that Izzy was going to be up my ass until I called my mom. I listened to it ring then heard her voice on the other end
"Rose sweetie is every thing ok? you know I'm at work and can't be on my phone"
I giggle and shake my head "no mom everything is ok. I was just wanting to ask if it was ok for me to stay the night at Izzy's. We have a project we need to do together." It wasn't a lie we did have a project to do. I sat there waiting for her to say something
"I guess it will be ok just don't go sneaking out of the house. I know how that friend of yours is"
I shock my head knowing my mom was right. Izzy did have a habit of sneaking out of the house and not coming back till 3 in the morning.
"Now mom you know I'm not that stupid. I promise i will not sneak out. I'm going to let you go back to work. mom I love you and I will see you when I get home" I could here the smile in her voice
"all right baby girl i love you too bye"
I smiled as she hung up. and headed to the lunch room to look for Izzy. I knew damn well she was going to be hyped up. I looked for her at the table we sat at but didn't see her so I went outside. She was on her phone. As I walked up. I could see a man on the camera and see Izzy blushing
" hey Izzy" she jumped at me calling her name, I giggled at her as she glared at me.
"damn it Rose you don't have to be sneaking up on people"
I giggled more and smiled "not my fault that you were so into your phone that you didn't see me walk up"
I heard a deep voice start laughing and agreeing with me. I moved so the guy on the phone couldn't see me
"so Izzy i called my mom and she said it was ok for me to stay with you I told her that we had a project to do so she was ok with it"
I watched as Izzy jumped up and down and as i walked away I could here her tell the man she was on the phone with that I was coming with her to the party. I was ready to get the day over with so I could get this damn party over with, well I hope it goes that way.
