Chapter one
Hi I'm Fly! I'm in year six and I'm the most popular girl in my year. I am pretty, I have ok grades, and I have a great singing voice. But that doesn't always help when you're studying for the 11+
I have five sisters so getting peace and quiet is hard. Especially when you share a room with the loudest, messiest, most annoying girl EVER! That's my twin, Peach -in case you didn't already know.
We are fairies so there is always some kind of spell or game going on. We have only just started learning spells, we do that in secondary school. We are learning them for the 11+.
I run upstairs to my hideout- at least I have one space to myself. You would think that living in a three floor mansion would mean lots of privacy but it doesn't in mine. There is Sugar, my older sister, making clothes with her boyfriend Blue. My younger sisters are all either in their rooms or running in the pool or flying in the gym.
I sit down between a small bookshelf and a coffee table. I sink into the beanbag and get comfy. I take out my notebook, pencil case and snacks. It will be boring so I bring some books in too.
